Childcare for me once was a hobby that has blossomed into my life long purpose. I have always adored children and take pride in being a part of so many family, friends and associates’ villages. I have been a nanny both part time and full time for multiples and a nanny share. Currently, I’ve received my Child Development Associate, I am a full time lead teacher at a daycare, & a direct support provider for a child with special needs, 4 years and counting. After school hours and most weekends I am a babysitter for local, school and referred clients. In the past few years I’ve focused on expanding my knowledge and experience. I hold several certifications & undergo extensive trainings to comply with both state & daycare regulations. I will always go above and beyond to grow, as no day is the same and I love that I get to tap into my fun side. I enjoy having a great time, teaching, fostering developmental growth and being a nurturer. Speaking of fun, my previous babysitter agency job provided me opportunities in places such as hotels, back up care in the home, & events i.e.; weddings on a weekly basis. Working with kids has always brought me joy and kept me grounded during hectic times. I nannied during undergrad and, while I have experience with children of all age ranges, I have primarily worked with infants and babies during their first year of life. I have experience with night-nannying, sleep training, feeding, and multiples. For those of you with older kids, bedtime routine is no problem either as I have had many longer term after-school gigs as well. I am confident in navigating the city responsibly, including school pick-up, and use of public transit. As a nanny, I'd describe myself as relaxed, punctual, reliable, flexible, confident, reasonable, communicative, consistent and dedicated.
