Angela 3 reviews
$27 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Long Island City, NY

Hi my name is Angela and I am currently a stay at home wife. I am offering childcare in your home and household services. I love being a sitter to children of any age group. I enjoy singing lullabies to newborns as much as counting numbers and things to coloring and reading books with toddlers, the joy I get from reading to children 😊 I have cleaned many homes, from vacuuming to laundry to organizing and also run errands (walking distance) because I don’t drive. Most importantly I am very loving towards children and trustworthy and respectful to the children as well as their parents and household. Thank you, Angela

We hired Angela to substitute for our regular nanny when she took six weeks leave. Angela stepped in and immediately made our kids feel comfortable and safe. They took to her right away and even after six weeks they are always glad to see her. She has a handle on them at all times - her guidance and nurturing of them has been impeccable. She did art projects with them, played on the floor with them, read with them, and was completely focused on them at all times. We feel so much respect and affection for Angela. We will miss her very much.

Isatu $22 per hour for 1 child

Hi – My name is Isatu, and I’m currently studying for the LSATs. I am offering child care, senior care, and household services. I love working with children and have over 8 years of childcare experience, beginning with caring for my younger siblings and neighbors’ children. This early responsibility led me to volunteer at multiple afterschool programs and later work in both daycare and after-school care. I enjoy storytelling, outdoor activities, and creating a positive environment where kids can grow, feel supported, and be themselves. My responsibilities have included crafts, tutoring, outdoor play, supervising routines, and helping children build confidence and independence. I also provide household assistance and can cook, clean, organize, and run errands with care and reliability.

D'Nasia $25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Long Island City, NY

Hi there! My name is D'Nasia and these are few reasons why I am a great caregiver! Responsible: Babysitters need to be reliable and responsible, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in their care. I am a very organized and responsible caretaker and treat children that I'm babysitting as if they are my own. Patient: Dealing with children can sometimes be challenging, so patience is a valuable quality to have when handling their needs and behaviors. I have frequently babysat children with special needs and my little brother is autistic, which has truly taught me the importance of being patient and empathetic. Good communication skills: I am able to communicate effectively with both children and parents. I have a "Babysitting notebook" that helps in understanding the children's needs and informing parents about their child's well-being; this notebook helps me monitor the child's allergies, safety concerns, play-time preferences, food-preferences, and more. Creativity: I am great at keeping kids busy and engaged! Whether it's watching Miss Rachel or planning engaging activities and games, I can make babysitting more enjoyable for children and myself. Adaptability: Children have different needs, personalities, and moods. My ability to be flexible and adaptable is key to handling various situations. Reliable and punctual: I am always on time (and by that I mean 15min early) to fulfill your responsibilities in a reliable and professional manner. Boundaries: I am great at setting and enforcing appropriate boundaries with the family in order maintain order and ensure their safety.

Zoe 1 review
$15 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Long Island City, NY

Hi! I’m a responsible 19-year-old sitter in the Bronx with 4 years of babysitting experience. I’ve cared for children of various ages and am comfortable managing multiple kids while keeping things organized, safe, and fun. I can assist with meal prep, light household chores, and homework help — especially in ELA and Social Studies. I enjoy helping kids build confidence in reading, writing, and understanding what they’re learning. Beyond that I have plenty experience with both cats and dogs. I’m reliable, patient, and always focused on creating a positive and supportive environment for your family. Everyone needs a break sometimes and I hope to be able to provide that for you!

Zoe was a delight! She is so caring, polite, reliable, punctual and communicative while she cared for my son. My son loved her!! I Would definetely book again.

Amina $15 per hour for 1 child

Hiii ✨ My name is Mina, and I’m a 21-year-old caregiver with several years of experience working with children of all ages. I’m a former preschool teacher and currently working toward becoming a Behavior Technician (RBT), where I’m learning new skills to support children’s growth, communication, and overall development. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment while also encouraging learning through everyday activities. Whether it’s helping with routines, engaging in play, or supporting emotional needs, I always aim to make children feel comfortable and cared for. As for my availability, I’m available in the mornings Monday through Friday, and I’m fully available all day on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and provide reliable, thoughtful care! —>> 🐾 Client & Safety Policy First-Time Walks: For large, shy, reactive, or nervous dogs, a meet-and-greet with the owner present is required before solo walks begin. Leash & Handling Policy: If a dog cannot be safely leashed or shows defensive behavior (growling, snapping, lunging, repeated close-proximity barking), I reserve the right to cancel the session for safety reasons. The full session rate will still apply, as the time slot and travel have been reserved. Health & Behavioral Disclosure: Clients must disclose if a dog is in heat, has a history of leash resistance, or has shown defensive behavior toward new handlers. Undisclosed conditions that prevent safe handling may result in cancellation with full charge. I am fully background-checked, patient, reliable, nurturing, and very accommodating to each family’s needs. I love creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can feel comfortable, supported, and happy. If you live a distance away and need urgent care, I kindly ask that transportation be covered via Lyft or Uber. I do have mild cat allergies, but I don’t mind being around pets — I may just be sneezing a bit! 😅 Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or would like to get to know me better. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and help care for your little ones!
