Hi, my name is Kim, but my friends and clients call me the "fairy dogmother" and the "doggie doula" because of how great I am taking care of dogs (and because of how much I spoil and love them)! A little bit about my background-- I am based in Brooklyn two blocks from Prospect Park. I have over 15 years experience caring for and rescuing high-need dogs with health issues. I decided to open up my home to dogs on Urbansitter after my senior dog recently passed away from end stage renal disease. Through caring for him and others, I have learned to administer subcutaneous fluid as well as oral medication to animals. I specifically have ample experience supporting dogs with generalized anxiety disorder, Cushing's, bladder stones, chronic pancreatitis, allergies, injuries, and so on. While I do have a full-time job that's unrelated to my passion for animals, I mostly work from home, which means I am available during the day for many walks and snuggles for your furry loved one.
