What qualifies me as a great caregiver for children is that I have years of experience working in various settings (schools, camps, daycare programs) with children between the ages of 6mo-4 years. I also have personality traits that are congruent with providing great care like patience, compassion, attentiveness, and creativity. I am not currently certified in CPR but I am willing to redo it. I have also completed over 40 hours of trainings related to caring for children 0-5 years old and am happy to provide proof and references for past jobs. I am comfortable working with both dogs and cats in the home, and I can also perform light cleaning, run errands, meal prep for the child/children, etc.

Hello! I am a graduate student studying for my degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. I am looking for a part-time job outside of my career to help pay for my student loans. I have been familiar with childcare since I was 13 years old! I have been caring for my siblings after school, neighborhood kids, and also infants in my family. I know people don’t typically take familial gigs seriously, but these were paid. In these babysitting jobs, I’d be responsible for bathing, doing homework, entertaining, cooking, and putting the child to sleep. I’d also do cleanly duties around the house to keep it tidy for the parents to come home. I also do have experience in working in a children’s day camp. In the day camp, I was responsible for teaching the children, caring for their safety, taking them on field trips, and taking care of their dietary needs. I have immense attention to detail and adaptability, so if you need any services that I haven’t mentioned, please feel free to talk to me about it. I am fine with pets. I am just unfamiliar with precise care, so as long as directions are provided I’d be good to go. I do have an allergy to cats. However my severity depends on the breed and my proximity to the cat. Hi, I’m Jocelyn! I’m currently a college student at Baruch College. My services include child care, dog and pet care. My experience with taking care of kids go way back to when I was taking care of younger relatives since I was around 10. I’m currently a chaperone for 2 kids on Saturdays and watching them do their online tutoring. I can practically do everything you need for child care! I mainly do pickup from school to home or to an afterschool activity but no at home sitting. I am also a math tutor so I can do tutoring at the library with your child if needed!
