I’m the oldest in my family so since i was a kid i always have helped with my families children ranging from all ages. I currently work in a retirement home where i’m trained in CPR, ambulance calls and assistance, and many other things like dealing with hard times (Alzheimer’s, dementia, rudeness, etc.). Hello! I have been working with children for over 15 years! My first job in high school was as a nanny and tutor, and I then went on to be an instructor and program director on Catalina Island. Here instructed kids from 3rd grade - 12th grade in Biology and History in accordance with the California State Curriculum. Afterwards I got my degree in Teaching and History from Azusa Pacific University where I logged over 200 hours of in-class experience. After college I worked as a nanny and tutor in California, Madrid, London, and Australia for children aged 0 - 21 (with special needs). I have experience working with families of all different backgrounds and languages, as well as tutoring kids with learning disabilities and special needs (specifically Autism and Dyslexia). I am very active and like to take kids on walks, to the zoo, to the park, and play lots of games. Hello! I’m Sierra. I currently work as a realtor in West Linn for Matin Real Estate but prior to this work, I worked in social services for a decade. I worked primarily as a vocational counselor helping individuals with their careers whom have a disability, injury, or mental health condition. I’ve also done medical case management, worked with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, and volunteered in the big brothers big sisters program to mentor youth. I have for many years taken care of my younger siblings from the time they were born up through teenage years. I also nanny for a friend who has a 5 year old child regularly as well. My education is a BA in Psychology and MPA degree. I am an excellent communicator, organized, thoughtful, and kind. With my education background, I am comfortable tutoring children and teenagers as I graduated with honors both in undergrad and graduate school and have taken challenging classes in a wide variety of studies.
