I have worked as a babysitter for two separate families throughout my high school years where I watched an infant, toddler, and kids. My responsibilities were to change diapers, play games, put them to bed, and I also gave lessons on how to ride a bike. Hi! I’m Nika. Pronounced “Knee-ka.” I’m 24 years old and originally from Tennessee, but I’ve been living in North Carolina since 2022 and absolutely love it here. I’m currently a college student pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, with over 50 credit hours completed so far. After moving to NC, I became an assistant teacher at a preparatory academy, working with toddlers (12–16 months) on walking, speech, and fine motor development. I then started as lead toddler teacher (ages 12–23 months) at a preschool before switching with a coworker to lead the pre-K classroom (ages 3–4). I always treat every child equally, but I adjust my approach based on their needs, such as avoiding loud noises for children with sensory sensitivities or creating structured routines for children who need consistency. Currently, I’m a nanny to a three-year-old boy, and I’ve been with him for over two years. I’ve supported him through major milestones like language development and social-emotional growth. In my free time, I enjoy painting, reading, writing, dancing, and playing sports like volleyball, tennis, and soccer. I love arts and crafts and believe that learning often looks like messy fun. Hey I’m Annie! After graduating from East Carolina University in 2017, I began working as an EMT for 3 years and also obtained my BLS certification. I then began working in the dental field and am just trying to pick up extra work to do during my off time. I have a lot of community service experience where I served as a mentor to a child, volunteered as a camp counselor for children with special needs, as well as volunteered in an after school program as a tutor. I have babysat for a few families in Charlotte and nannied for 1 year. Working with kids is an absolute joy and I can’t wait to help out families in the area!

Hi! My name is Kaylee, I’m 22 years old and I’m a native to the Charlotte area. I’m currently working as a supervisor at Starbucks and attending their ASU college program. I’ve been babysitting as a side gig since I was 17 years old. My specialty ages are 4-9 years old. I typically help with after school activities such as homework, reading and writing as well as other fun stuff like coloring, crafts and outdoor activities. On top of that, I can cook lunch or dinner and clean up the dishes when they’re finished. My objectives while babysitting include making sure your child is having good, safe fun while simultaneously wearing them out so once I leave, they’re ready for bedtime, a nap or quiet time.
