Hello! I’m Ta’Ja (Tay-Juh) I am currently working a full time job during the week (Mon-Fri) but I become available after 7pm to do evening care to 11pm! Weekends are more flexible for me! I am currently offering child care and pet care! I love working with kids/youth! I’ve been volunteering and working with kids/youth since my sophomore yeah in high school! From being an assistant soccer coach for 1st -5th graders, volunteering at my mom’s home daycare, helping out with afterschool programs through my middle school (event help, plays, ect), working with kiddos in retail, and now working with youth in a before and afterschool setting for now 2 years! My responsibilities have included helping with various arts and crafts, school/homework help, make/prepare small snacks, and other fun activities. I can do light household services! (Can be discussed in advance) I currently do not drive but I know my way around the city and bus routes! Pet Care: I am not very fond of cats. But I am happy to work with families with dogs big or small.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Bremerton, WA

Hi! I’ve been caring for kids, pets, and helping households in different ways for many years. I started babysitting in high school and continued on and off through college, and also worked as a camp counselor in high school with kids going into kindergarten. I’m additionally a proud aunt to two boys (Ian is 3, and Ellis was just born on May 2!) and have spent a lot of time caring for and babysitting them over the years. I’m naturally very creative, patient, attentive, and emotionally aware, and I care a lot about making sure kids feel safe, listened to, respected, and genuinely seen. I’m also reliable, responsible, and organized, so parents can feel comfortable knowing things will actually be handled well and consistently. I enjoy engaging with kids in a real way rather than just supervising them passively, whether that means creative activities, outdoor time, games, helping with routines, or simply being a calm and supportive presence. Animals have also been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs, worked at a dog groomer in high school, fostered dogs through the ASPCA and Furever Home Rescue in New Jersey, and adopted my own rescue dog through Big Dog Rescue Project in 2020. I currently work professionally through Rover and have experience with walks, drop-ins, overnight care, routines, medication support, and caring for pets with different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I take pet care very seriously and understand how important trust, communication, safety, and consistency are when someone is caring for a beloved animal. Beyond caregiving, I’m also highly organized and happy to help with general household support such as tidying, organizing, errands, light cleaning, meal prep, pet-related cleanup, receiving deliveries, watering plants, or helping keep things running smoothly overall. I’m adaptable, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy helping create a more peaceful and supported environment for people. I’m new to Urban Sitter and haven’t collected reviews here yet, but you can find reviews on my Bambino babysitter profile, or check out my LinkedIn page. Happy to provide both to you when we connect.

Hi, my name is Emma! I work as a social worker and babysit/nanny on the side. I love getting to know families in the area. I am most often available for date nights/evening babysitting and live in the Wallingford area (but I have transportation and am happy to travel outside of this area)! Before I pursued a Masters of Social Work, I worked with children and adolescents for 8 years as a nanny, K-2 Spanish teacher and educational assistant. I also worked for several years as a mental health specialist with youth experiencing severe mental illness. My experience as a babysitter and a teacher has given me the ability to confidently set up activities and supervise children so that they can have fun and be safe. My background in mental health has given me the ability to manage behavioral challenges and conflict. I’m happy to provide references upon request! I just don’t list them here to protect their privacy. I look forward to getting to know you and your kiddos! Please reach out if you have any questions.

Yisel 1 review
$30 per hour for 1 child

Why should a family choose me as a nanny? I am Yisel from Colombia, responsible, honest, fun, open-minded, patient, loving, dedicated, happy and pet friendly person. I love spending time with children, helping them to grow up happy, sharing my culture with them, teaching them my mother tongue and learning new things. I am a language teacher in my country, I speak Spanish, English and French, I worked as a teacher in a daycare for two years and I have experience as a nanny for more than 6 years and 3 years of nanny sharing with the same families, I love helping my children reach their creative potential and develop a harmonic cognitive process. I believe that a variety of activities are essential for the development of children. Also, the closeness to nature and engagement in building things with their own hands will stimulate their eagerness to explore and experiment. I like the key "learning by playing" because it corresponds to reality and what I like doing with children. And you can be sure that your children will have rewarding experiences with me. It would be great to become your friend, contact person, and role model for your children. I love children and care about them, so their well-being and safety are most important to me. What activities would you like to do with your host children? Depending on the ages and the climate, I would do the following activities with the children: • 0 - 6 months: Early stimulation activities with water, sand, tempera and clay. Roll balls with sound, encourage crawling, rhythm with toys, feeding support and nursery rhymes. • 1 - 2 years: Activities that help them develop their early stimulation. Play with water balloons, threading games, fishing afternoon, sandbox, games with music, games with tempera paint and rope toys. • 2 - 5 years: Dance activities to the rhythm of music, building blocks, drawing pictures with different paintings, going up and down steps, drawing, painting silhouettes, taking them to the park, teaching them my mother tongue and helping them are their language.

Yiyi worked as a part-time nanny for our son when he was 1 to 2 years old until we moved away to California. She is so kind, attentive, easy to work with and be around and helpful. She took our son out on adventures, did art projects with him ( she is a talented artist), read, sang, danced and actively engaged him. She is easy to communicate with, responsive and very reliable. I love that she speaks Spanish and English and exposed our son to Spanish. I don't think she was sick 1 day that she worked with us. She goes above and beyond, when I asked if she would be willing to come over when my husband had to be on a work trip while I was pregnant with our second child and had the flu, she said yes. I am forever thankful for her care during those very hard days. She became a part of our family and we still stay in touch. I highly recommend Yiyi!
