Hello, Families! I recently legally changed my name to Kai, but Elisabeth/Beth was my name prior. I’ll happy to send proof of name change if needed! I'm a career nanny with over 15 years of nanny experience. I am also a newborn care specialist, birth doula, and postpartum doula. Though I am a US citizen, I was born and raised in Indonesia and speak fluent Indonesian as well as English. I am fully vaccinated, have a reliable car, clean driving record, and am CPR/First Aid/AED Certified for infants, children, and adults. I enjoy caring for children of all ages, but the bulk of my experience has been in the newborn to 5 year old range. I love getting children outdoors, helping facilitate art projects, listening to music, having dance parties, and also reading with children. I also love board games, having tea parties, and going on neighborhood adventures or outings to the zoo or aquarium. I currently work as a full-time nanny and am unavailable for full-time care, but I am available most weekday mornings before 9am as well as most weeknights after 5:30pm. I am also often available on weekends. ***I do not provide care for sick children, as I do not want to run the risk of my regular nanny family getting sick.*** I have a 4 hour or $120 minimum for bookings and am happy to be paid through Urbansitter, in cash, or through Venmo. I'm happy to do overnights and charge a flat rate of $175 for the hours between 10pm and 6am and my hourly rate for any additional hours. The exception for this would be infants under 12 months old, for which I charge my hourly rate through the night. Please feel free to message me if you have any additional questions. Thank you for your interest in booking with me!

Kai was very sweet and patient with my three month old!

I spent my freshmen and Sophomore year (2[removed]) at college working with preschool English language learners. From 2015 to 2018 I worked at Green Tree Early Education center in Downtown Seattle. After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Early Education, I went for a Masters in Computer Science from Northeastern University. During my corporate career, I worked EST which allowed me to be an afterschool nanny/manny starting during the pandemic. I have worked with 7 different families and my undergraduate education was focused on infants and toddlers. Most of my experience is in transitional care / mothers helper while the families are on a waitlist for childcare centers. However my most recent experience was as a nanny/manny for two boys with Autism Spectrum disorder. I have an outdated first aid and CPR certification but I am almost certain there has not been any significant changes since 2017. I am comfortable around pets

Brian responded to my post looking for a last minute sitter for my 3 kids (11, 8, 4) when our regular sitter cancelled. He arrived 10 mins early to get settled, and immediately engaged with my 11 year old. He had a creative dinner idea for the kids, even got our 4yo to eat a lot, and I came home to happy kids who couldn’t wait to tell me about all the fun they had. He even got my 4yo to play with him, and she’s usually very hesitant towards new people. He followed her multi-step bedtime routine successfully too. Full disclosure: Brian is my coworker’s husband, so I knew and had met him before hiring him. After rave reviews from my kids, I will definitely be hiring him again.

Hi there! My name is Allison and I’m 29 with about 15 years of childcare experience spanning all ages. I’m a recent transplant to Seattle - originally from Chicago, but spent the last three years living on the Big Island of Hawaii. I usually work full time in marketing, but right now am on the hunt for my next role - which opens up my daytime availability for childcare! I’ve worked with countless families, from nannying for vacationing families in Hawaii to spending 5 years with a Chicago family as their several times a week babysitter. I love to read, travel, and hike - please let me know if you’d like to chat further!

Easy going, playful and engaged effortlessly with my 6/4 year olds. Highly recommend.

Hello families, as my contract is coming to an end soon, I am searching for a new part-time role in the mornings. Availability: 20-30 hours weekly, between 6 AM and 12 PM. A little bit about me: - I have a reliable car. - Clean driving record. - CPR certified. - Non-smoker. - Up to date with all vaccines. - Bilingual (Portuguese and English). - Very outdoorsy. I am enthusiastic, energetic, caring, and patient. I am also very punctual and love pets. North Seattle is preferable, but I’m happy to travel further for the right fit. If you’d like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you!

Inaye was so bright and cheery! She was great with my autistic son! I would highly recommend her for anyone and especially for kids with special needs. Thank you Inaye!
