Hi! I’m Amber and I’m a teacher that’s looking to help out families after school and on weekends! I’m interested in providing childcare, pet care, and/or household services! I’ve been teaching for the last 7 years in public schools. Prior to teaching I worked in childcare running the infant classroom and floating amongst the toddler-age classrooms. I also have experience working with children in special education so I feel very comfortable working with all ages and ability levels! Both my educational and work background almost exclusively revolve around children and have allowed me to develop an excellent set of knowledge and personable skills for working with kids. I feel very comfortable and confident caring for all ages!

Hi! I’m Fatima, a student at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, and I genuinely love working with children. As the oldest in my family, I naturally grew up helping care for younger siblings and relatives, and I’ve been babysitting children of all ages, from newborns to preteens since I was 12 years old. I love creating a warm, safe, and fun environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. Whether we’re doing crafts, playing outside, helping with homework, baking treats, or simply having fun together, I always try to make sure children feel supported, happy, and cared for. I also understand how important trust and communication are for parents, and I always strive to be someone families can truly rely on. In past nannying and babysitting experiences, I’ve helped with school pick-ups and drop-offs, tutoring, meal prep, bedtime routines, light housekeeping, and keeping busy schedules organized. More than anything, I love building genuine connections with the families I work with and becoming a positive and dependable presence in children’s lives. I am 28 years old. I have worked with children from infants through school age. Former teacher at Kindercare, and am background checked through the Department of Early Learning. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Washington. I am also CPR certified for infants through adults. I love story time and tasks that use the children’s imaginations. I have a passion for helping children learn new things and grow. I also love taking the children to the park, zoo, etc. so they can have fun and use up their energy in a positive way. I am also a mother of two and my oldest is level 2 on the autism spectrum and has adhd so I do have lots of experience with special needs as well.

I love spending time with children, helping them to grow up happy, sharing my culture with them, teaching them my mother tongue and learning new things. I am a language teacher in my country, I speak Spanish, English and French, I worked as a teacher in a daycare for two years and I have experience as a nanny for more than 6 years and 3 years of nanny sharing with the same families, I love helping my children reach their creative potential and develop a harmonic cognitive process. I believe that a variety of activities are essential for the development of children. Also, the closeness to nature and engagement in building things with their own hands will stimulate their eagerness to explore and experiment. What activities would you like to do with your host children? Depending on the ages and the climate, I would do the following activities with the children: • 0 - 6 months: Early stimulation activities with water, sand, tempera and clay. Roll balls with sound, encourage crawling, rhythm with toys, feeding support and nursery rhymes. • 1 - 2 years: Activities that help them develop their early stimulation. Play with water balloons, threading games, fishing afternoon, sandbox, games with music, games with tempera paint and rope toys. • 2 - 5 years: Dance activities to the rhythm of music, building blocks, drawing pictures with different paintings, going up and down steps, drawing, painting silhouettes, taking them to the park, teaching them my mother tongue and helping them are their language.

I am the proud mother of two young adult children who are now making their way in the world, and I am still their biggest cheerleader. As a former federal employee, I bring reliability, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility. Gardening is one of my mini passions, and I currently do part-time gardening work. I also have many years of experience, caring for children and babies.
