As a teenager, I lifeguarded for a very busy water park, and I learned to govern a child's behavior to keep them safe as well as interact with them in a manner that keeps the tone playful, yet informative. I taught countless swim classes over the summers with young children to pre-teens, and I found that maintaining a relational bond with kids makes the learning process stronger. I grew up with siblings over ten years younger than me and have spent their early years managing their behavior, learning habits, and their fun. Hello, my name is Alexia. Over the past 5 years I've been babysitting for a family that have fostered and adopted children and they've become like a second family to me. I have experience with newborns/infants, toddlers, twins, elementary, pre-teen and teenagers. I also have experience taking care of multiple children at a time. I've worked nights (bedtime routine) and overnights (morning routine) which consists of waking kids up, getting them ready, breakfast, pack lunches and drop off at bus stop when mom and dad are out of town.
