Hi! I’m Yuri, a recent graduate from San Francisco State University with a Master’s degree in Cell Biology. I’m currently looking for occasional babysitting opportunities, especially for date nights and weekend help! I’ve been babysitting professionally for about 12 years and also grew up helping care for my 6 younger siblings. As a San Francisco native, I love building strong connections with local families and creating fun, enriching experiences for kids. I especially enjoy nurturing children’s creativity and curiosity through arts and crafts, reading in silly voices, building forts, digging for “gems” in edible sand (blended cereal!), Legos, nature walks, museums, and play groups. I have a Montessori-inspired, gentle parenting approach and love encouraging children’s independence, imagination, and confidence in a warm and supportive environment. Working with children genuinely brings me so much joy, and I hope to continue babysitting while I work toward finding a permanent full-time position in research. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your little one(s)!
Hello! My name is Erica and I've been watching children beginning with my little sister when I was in jr. high. Since then I have babysat children of all ages. I have worked at preschools and have taken classes in early childhood development. I taught my own class of 3 year olds, but have served as an aide in classes ranging from infant to 5 years. I am a fully licensed cosmetologist & work as a hairstylist at a salon in Berkeley. I love children of all ages and they tend to love me. I'm a child at heart and enjoy singing, art, going outside, and just having fun. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies and tv shows, exploring the outdoors, and cooking.
“Erica is wonderful! She is very easy to communicate with, arrived on time, and put my 8 month old who has some separation anxiety at ease. We look forward to working with her again in the future! ”

Hello families! My name is Galen and I’m looking forward to supporting your family’s child and other care needs. I’m a therapist by training and by day with a masters degree in social work, but I’m looking to build community and supplement my income by caring for children on nights and weekends. I have 15+ years of experience caring for kids of all ages as well as tutoring, pet care, cooking, and light housework. I took a few years away from this app to focus on grad school, but I’m excited to get back to childcare. I maintain CPR certification through work and am up-to-date on all vaccines. Looking forward to meeting you!
“Galen was wonderful - my daughter had a great time with her and she was very helpful and accommodating to both of us. Will look for her help again!”

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to request references—I would love the opportunity to support your family.
“Kat watched my 11 month old son while I took care of my baby girl. She was wonderful! Played turn based games and sang to him. Helped with feeding his lunch and cleaning up. Proactive and easy to work with. Would love to work with her again! ”
