Hi! My name is Savannah. I recently graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and am currently working while preparing my applications for medical school. I've been caring for children since I was 15 and have experience with all ages from newborns to 15 years old. I've worked with large families (up to five children at once), twins and multiples, and I also have experience as a night nanny. Supporting children with special needs is especially close to my heart, my younger brother, who is 15 years younger than me, is on the autism spectrum, and that's shaped both my understanding and my approach as a caregiver. I'm CPR and EMT certified, and I'm happy to help with everything from date nights and tutoring to outdoor activities and daily routines. I am a credentialed Special Education Teacher and private tutor with thirteen years of teaching experience. I have worked with kids with a range of needs, and specialize in students with learning disabilities, ADHD, ASD, and 2E children. I have also been a sitter and nanny for many more years. I have significant experience with kids from newborn infants through high school age. As a sitter, I’m incredibly attentive and engaging with kids. I love to read with them, play games, do arts and crafts, play outside, and cook/ bake. I’m a great cook, and am happy to do meal prep services in addition to childcare as well. I have a B.A. from UC San Diego in International Relations, and a Master's Degree from CUNY Brooklyn College in Special Education. Cancellation Policy: If bookings are cancelled by the parent within 12 hours of the start time of the booking, I charge a fee of 50% of the total booking to help offset the loss of wages on short notice.

I have more then 10 years of experience as a nanny, i speak English and Chinese and have excellent communication skills, i am warm, loving, attentive, reliable , punctual, trust-worthy, very tidy and experienced with young kids. i also prepare meals for the kids and help with basic cleaning , baby laundry, dishes, taking out trash, I have always been proactive in terms of activities for kids , from library activities , museums , parks to kids events in the neighborhood , driving to/from school or parks , never been late and always given parents a heads-up when something came up (in rare cases). i have my own car and clean drive record, i am fully vaccinated , infant CPR and FIRST AID certified.
