I love creating fun and inclusive spaces for children which is why I've dedicated the last 8 years to working with them! As the second oldest of seven children, I have spent most of my life caring for kids. From ages 17 to 19, I was the sole caregiver for my two youngest siblings, then ages 0 to 4, due to an illness in the family. I started babysitting at a young age and quickly built a reputation for being especially good with young children. I went on to work in K-12 summer camps for four summers, then spent two years as a program leader in a K-8 public school afterschool program. During my thirteen years as a flight attendant, I completed annual first aid training, including infant and child CPR and Heimlich maneuver certification. I live in Cole Valley with my small, perfect dog Lola and my partner, who works at a tech start up. I'm reliable, responsible, and very flexible with scheduling. I hold an undergraduate degree in Global Studies and am currently transitioning into education and social impact work. I stay active in the community through food insecurity and youth literacy volunteer programs, as an avid reader, I love to spread my love of books to the next generation! I am a deeply curious and empathic person who believes in meeting someone where they are at and always listening first. I have pets my entire adult life and am also happy to pet sit or take your furry friend for a walk.

Hello! My name is Cepideh (Cep for short) and I currently work part-time researcher at UC San Francisco, a role I secured after graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2021. In undergrad, I was an active student involved in the Undergraduate Mentorship Program which mentors and guides first year students through academic and personal situations. One of my first ever jobs was as a swim instructor at the local swim school De Anza Cupertino Aquatics (DACA). I taught children ages 7-11 basic swim strokes and safety during their lessons. I also had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor during my high school career. I led a group of elementary school children through their activities in a weeklong excursion in the Watsonville outdoor school. I find an incredible sense of wonderment when I have the opportunity to work with children. I end up learning more than I anticipated through conversations and activities I engage in with the children. I look forward to continuing to work with children in my local area!
