My name is Lauren and I have been babysitting and providing childcare for local families for over twenty years. I am happy, energetic, upbeat and creative and I enjoy working with children of all ages! I'm also certified in infant, child and adult CPR. 💚 In conjunction with providing childcare to families in my area, I have been working in the medical field for the last 15 years and love interacting with all the folks I meet in Marin County. I currently work full time in a veterinary practice and have experience working in pediatric medicine, as well as adult and pediatric dentistry. I have been TrustLine certified since April of 2007, which includes finger printing and a FBI background check. I live in San Anselmo with my family and my sweet Chihuahua, have my own reliable vehicle and and am a non-smoker. I have wonderful references and a perfect driving record. I’m responsible yet playful, attentive, patient, open-minded, loving and cheerful. I pride myself on caring for your family the same way I care for my own! I am fully vaccinated and boostered against COVID, and take health and wellness very seriously as well. I’m also happy to wear a mask around your family if that is your preference. I look forward to connecting with you and helping you with your childcare and house hold assistance needs!

Lauren was professional, prepared and friendly. She took charge quickly and was very capable with my three pre-teens. Communication with me while we were gone was excellent. Would definitely hire again.

Hi. I grew up in Marin and just moved back after living in Boston for ten years. I have worked with children in many different capacities since high school. I have worked as a camp counselor, babysitter, and teacher in a non classroom setting. Most recently I worked at the Museum of Science in Boston as well as an attendant in the child care room in a gym. One of the hardest parts of moving back to California is leaving the families I had been babysitting for years. I am comfortable working with all age groups. I have worked with infants as young as nine days old to teens, though most of my work has been with children between three months and ten years. My experience has taught me that nothing is more exhilarating, rewarding, or exhausting then working with children. I have found that a good sense of humor and open communication with parents is essential. Having people trust me to look after their child/children is a great responsibility that I take seriously. A bit about me. I am an avid reader. Like many people, I love to travel. I am currently on a quest to visit as many national parks as I can - 54 thus far. I am always happiest when I can get outside though I must stay vigilant about not getting burned. I am a vegetarian who loves to bake with varying levels of success. I look forward to meeting and learning more about you.

Rachel is so wonderful! Will love to book her again soon.

I’m 26 years old and I’ve been working with children since I was 15 in my home country, and for 2.5 years here in the Bay Area. I always loved being around kids and I have experience with all ages, from infants to teenagers. I can cook, clean and I’m a strong driver. I’m also caring, affectionate, energetic, fast learner, really responsible, trustworthy, pet friendly, CPR and first aid certified. I currently work part time for a family, so I’m open to part-time positions (especially in the mornings). Besides my experience with kids, I also have a college degree, and experience with managing, so I’d be happy to help as a personal assistant/organizer or mother’s helper as well. Please let me know if you have any questions, I’ll be happy to answer and to help your family.

Nathalia jumped in on short notice and was on top of the details of getting my daughter and bringing her to an appointment and then home. We hope to see her again.

***Update: Please message me for availability- the calendar on here is rarely updated. Thank you! :-) ************************************************************** Hello! I'm a Bay Area native and I was a childcare provider and nanny for over 10 years in San Francisco before I began my teaching certification program. I really enjoy working with families and still keep in close contact with the last family I worked with. In the past, I've also worked for the Y.M.C.A. as a coach and teacher for children in their camp program. I love doing arts and crafts activities, and going on outside adventures with kids to parks, museums (California Academy of Sciences is a great one!), and libraries. Most of my past jobs working with families were referrals from other families I worked with, so this is my first time using an online site to apply for positions. My certifications are in Special Education EC-12th grade, E.S.L. EC-12th grade, English Language Arts and Reading 7th-12th grade, and General Education EC-6th grade. While working on my credential I completed internship hours in an elementary school classroom working with children on the Autism Spectrum. My experience in the internship was so inspiring that I decided to make Special Education a focus in teaching. I'm taking this semester off from teaching so I’m mostly tutoring, but also available for occasional babysitting. I really enjoy babysitting because it gives me the opportunity to be creative, no matter what age the child is, with play and learning activities. As an Educator, I am passionate about incorporating play into education to make learning accessible for every child. My schedule isn’t usually updated on the app, so please feel free to send me a message inquiring about a date. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Reese

Reese babysat our two kids while we went out for dinner and drinks. Reese was punctual and super friendly, immediately engaging with my kids. I felt like she had great energy and everything went well. We would definitely hire Reese again.
