Hi! My name is Trisha, and I've been working with children for over 20 years. During that time, I've cared for more than 20 families and have many wonderful references available upon request. I also served as the Children's Ministry Director at my former church for several years. I'm currently working as a Household Manager/Nanny in a temporary position and am looking for a long-term family to grow with. Ideally, I'm seeking a position that offers 5+ hours per day, 4–5 days a week, with a maximum of 30 hours per week. I moved to San Jose a little over a year ago and would love to find a position closer to home, though I'm happy to travel for the right family. A little about me—I’m 47 years old and helped raise my stepdaughter from the age of 4. She is now 29. I'm creative and love painting, shopping, and spending time outdoors. I'm a non-smoker, a Christian, and I genuinely love working with children. I enjoy helping families however I can and pride myself on being dependable, easygoing, and fun! I’m always on time and love bringing games, crafts, and creative activities for the kids. I also enjoy taking children to the park, library, and other fun outings when appropriate. I would love to learn more about your family, your child, and your daily routine to see if we'd be a great fit. My rate is $35–$40 per hour for one or two children. I have my own reliable vehicle and am happy to provide transportation to and from school or extracurricular activities. If you think we might be a good match, I'd love to hear from you! Finding the right nanny can be challenging, and I truly hope you find the perfect fit for your family. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a wonderful rest of your week! Trisha

I have been working with children for 15 years and I still love it. I worked at a daycare center as an infant toddler teacher for five years. I taught swim lessons to all ages. I am currently a nanny for over 5 years. I love to be outside taking walks, or at a park. I like to do art activities, make up scavenger hunts, read books, play board/card games, legos, and just follow what the child is into. Usually just make up games. A babysitter should be a fun time for the child. I am happy to do easy meals for the kids and some cleaning.

Kylie San Jose
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Kylie, and I’m 22 years old. I’m currently a student at West Valley College with a passion for working with children of all ages and abilities. I have over 12 years of babysitting experience, along with professional childcare experience at The Club at Los Gatos, where I worked with children ranging from 6 months to 12 years old. Growing up with four younger sisters (now ages 9, 15, 16, and 21) has also given me a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for kids. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED through the American Red Cross. I’m happy to help with homework, enjoy planning creative art activities, and always strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. One of my greatest passions is supporting children with special needs and neurodivergent children. I have several years of experience working with children with diverse needs, and one of the most meaningful experiences of my life was caring for an incredible young girl with autism. She inspired my love for working with children and helped shape the career path I hope to pursue. Looking ahead, my dream is to advocate for children's mental health and help improve mental health education and support within schools. Until then, I’m grateful for every opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the children and families I work with. I would love the opportunity to care for your little one(s), provide them with a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment, and help make your day just a little easier. I look forward to meeting your family!

Booked by 4 families in New Almaden, CA

Hello! My name is Paula, and I bring over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages and I went to school for child development. I am passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can thrive and grow. For two years, I had the wonderful opportunity to work as an au pair, caring for twins infant boys. That experience deepened my love for early childhood care and taught me the importance of patience, routine, and creativity in a young child’s development. I’m energetic, reliable, and always ready to jump into activities that inspire joy and learning. I love painting, practicing yoga, and reading, all of which I enjoy sharing with the children I care for. Whether it’s exploring creativity through arts and crafts or winding down with a good storybook, I strive to make every day engaging and meaningful. I must add I love animals and I currently have a Cat named Onyx. I'm excited to bring my experience, enthusiasm, and positive energy to a new family, and I look forward to supporting your child's growth and happiness

Paula is our current nanny for our one year old son. She is everything that we want in a nanny. She is loving, responsible, responsive, communicative, punctual, considerate, proactive, helpful, self-aware, hardworking, and the list continues! We had to fire the last nanny and what a blessing in disguise that was because we found Paula. She is warm and loving with our son. I hear him laughing with her all of the time and it warms my heart to know that my son loves his caretaker. We also have three dogs and it was incredibly important for us to find someone who loves animals. She goes out of her way to show each one of them genuine affection, which is beyond what we asked for. We feel so blessed to have found Paula and can recommend her services without a moments hesitation to anyone!
