Hi families, My name is Gabrielle and I am a current master’s student at CSU East Bay in the School Psychology Program. I graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Applied Development Psychology where I also interned at the UCLA Infant Development Program. In this role I cared for children three months to three years old, while taking courses focused on child development that could be directly applied in a high-quality early childhood education setting. My values and training are rooted in developmentally-appropriate and child-centered practices, where I truly believe in fostering child autonomy. With robust training in child development, I am willing and able to implement any routines and strategies you may already have with your children. I have a long history of caring for children starting in 2015 when I was in high school working in a home day care, babysitting for family members, and serving as a regular sitter for two families in Los Angeles 2[removed]. My more recent roles have been largely clinical or mental-health focused. I spent two years working as a clinic coordinator at a UCLA Health autism clinic and most recently worked at an elementary school supporting Tk-6th grade students with social-emotional learning. Generally, I am a fun-loving, optimistic, and ambitious individual. In my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, thrifting for things to decorate my new apartment, and hiking / being outdoors. I am a full-time student and work two full days at an elementary site so evening and weekend babysitting works best for me. I would be happy to connect at a play date, park, or library, etc., to see if I might be a good match for you and your family! Certifications / Clearance: - Minor in applied developmental psychology (completed 300 hour internship at Megan E. Daly Infant Development Program) - California Certificate of Clearance (required by CA public schools & includes a Department of Justice Background Check) - Infant / Child CPR First Aid Certified (2022), online renewed 2026 - Tuberculosis negative (tested 2025) - Up to date on vaccines
Hi! I’m a caring, responsible, and patient caregiver who enjoys spending time with children and helping families feel supported. I have experience caring for kids of different ages and I always focus on creating a safe, fun, and positive environment. I’m reliable, organized, and comfortable helping with routines, meals, playtime, bedtime, and light household tasks. I’m also flexible with occasional babysitting and part-time care, and I always try to make children feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for.
“Jhenifer was great with our little girls. They absolutely loved her. She watched them for a full night after a long day and helped with dinner and bed time.”
Hi! I’m Cinthia, and I have 6+ years of experience caring for children of all ages — from infants as young as 4 months old to pre-teens up to 12 years old. I truly love working with children and especially enjoy caring for infants, toddlers, and young girls. I love keeping kids engaged through age-appropriate activities, outdoor play, creative games, reading, and helping with homework, while always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m CPR certified, patient, responsible, and dependable. I bring a calm, positive energy into the home and always do my best to make things easier for both the children and their parents. I’m currently looking for part-time opportunities, especially on Mondays and Fridays, as well as occasional babysitting such as date nights, evenings, weekends, and last-minute or extra help when families need it. I have a valid U.S. driver’s license and my own transportation, and I’m comfortable driving children when needed. If you’re looking for someone caring, trustworthy, responsible, and fun to spend time with your little ones, I’d love to connect! ❤️
“I’m so happy to recommend Cinthia as a babysitter. She’s been amazing with my twins and has truly become part of our family. From the start, she showed how reliable and trustworthy she is, and I always feel at ease leaving my kids with her. She takes care of all the daily needs ( feeding them, giving them baths, getting them ready for bed) and she’s even stayed overnight when we needed extra help. Having someone so calm and patient in the house has been a huge plus, especially with two little ones who sometimes both want attention at the same time. What I really appreciate is how she goes beyond just “watching” the kids. She takes them out on playdates, keeps them busy with fun activities, and makes sure they’re safe while still letting them explore and enjoy themselves. She has a really gentle way about her, and the twins just light up when she’s around. Even on hectic days, she never seems flustered and always keeps things running smoothly. Cinthia is dependable, easy to communicate with, and so caring toward my kids. Knowing she’s there gives me peace of mind because I know my twins are happy and well looked after. Any family would be lucky to have her as their babysitter, and I can honestly say she’s been one of the best things to happen to us.”
Hello! My name is Jia and I am a recent graduate from San Francisco State University. I have an extensive background working with children, mainly grades K-6th. I have worked at an afterschool/summer program for 6 years (2 years volunteer, 4 years paid), looking after around 50 kids at a time. My roles there included chaperoning on daily park trips and weekly field trips, taking care of lunch and cleanup operations, as well as tutoring on math and English. My top priority is to always ensure the children are safe, but also to add some fun into their day! I understand that every child has different needs, so I’m always adapting and learning as I go. I can assist with cooking/meal prepping, cleaning, and running any errands as well if necessary. I also speak Mandarin and Cantonese!
I am a third grade teacher with fifteen years teaching experience. I work at a public school in Oakland’s Glenview neighborhood. I’m a mama of two kids, ages 17 and 20. I have the summer off and looking for some babysitting gigs!
“Erica was friendly, confident and professional, and she easily got into the swing of things with our two young kids. They had a great time with her, and she sent helpful updates as well so we had a nice evening out.”
