Hello Families! A little about me is that I grew up taking care of all of my 4 siblings make sure they were fed and taken care of while also making sure the house is being taken care of too, I learned that I loved to clean. When I turned 18 I applied for Americorps and that is where I got to work with kids in preschool and school age kids and I even worked with middle school kids as well! And that is where I worked for about three years gaining more experience everyday working with all types of different kids!

Booked by 2 families in Pala, CA

Hi! My name is Mallorie and I am a mother to one 14 month old. I am currently going to college for Occupational Therapy with a focus in Pediatrics. I have always had a passion for working with kids and would love to provide your family with safe and loving childcare! I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old and have experience working with children 0-12 year olds. I would be happy to provide references if you ask. I would love to babysit in my home and can do pickups/dropoffs. I can do last minute drop ins depending on the situation. If I am caring for your child in my home I am open to installing in home cameras that you will have access to while they are with me. I will always have fun activities planned and can provide meals+snacks unless you want to provide your own. I love all animals and have two cats and a dog of my own.

Sierra 2 reviews
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Pala, CA

Hi CA Families! 🌞🌉✨ New to the app but not to child care! I have references available :) I’m a beach lover, student, nature enthusiast, 25-year-old nanny with over 10 years of experience caring for kids of all ages and abilities. I’m a recent graduate with a degree in psychology & a minor in counseling and plan to attend graduate school asap. My long-term goal is to become a Child Life Specialist or Pediatric Psychologist. Supporting kids through their growth isn’t just work for me, it’s truly my calling. I’ve worked closely with autistic children as a nanny, B.C.A, and a para-educator with SFUSD, and I deeply value meeting each child exactly where they are. 💐🤱🏼 My background in psychology, love of neuroscience, training in Waldorf education and yoga training, all shape the way I show up: grounded, playful, attuned, and developmentally aware. I focus a lot on emotional regulation, connection, creativity, and building confidence. 🧠🍎🎨💟 I’ve cared for everything from a bustling household of six kids to providing steady overnight support for a nurse mom working long shifts. I’m adaptable and calm under pressure, and I genuinely enjoy the rhythm of busy family life. I’ve also worked private events, helping create safe and fun spaces for little ones while parents can relax or focus! 🗓️🧺🌺 Before fully diving into childcare, I worked for a catering company, music venue, and restaurants, so I’m very comfortable with meal prep, packing lunches, prepping healthy snacks, and helping families stay organized around food and daily tasks like laundry or organizing. 👩‍🍳🍳 I’m also comfortable with basic medication administration and toileting support. ⛑️🚽🙈 I love taking kids outside — beach days, park hangs, nature walks, or city adventures. Fresh air and movement are big in my care style. I incorporate music, storytelling, and creative play often. 🚶‍♀️🌈🦋🌻🎼 I also speak ASL and light Spanish. 🤘🇪🇸 I am certified in CPR as well. 🏥🩺 If you’re looking for someone warm, intuitive, outdoorsy, and deeply invested in your child’s well-being, I’d love to connect. 🤍 open to setting up zoom meetings or interviews any time. Thank you!

“Sierra arrived 10 minutes early, took my kids to play outside and kept them safe on a city excursion to the local hardware store. The kids were already asking if she’d come back. Highly recommended! ”

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Pala, CA

Hi! My name is Sheena and I can assure you my qualifications, personality, and attention to detail will make the pay worth your while. My experience ranges from all over. It began when I started volunteering at my church with the childcare center! I knew I had a passion and decided to go to college for early childhood education. I finished my schooling in 2022 and wanted to explore a teaching career. I then worked in a preschool for almost a year and a half. I became CPR/First Aid certified there and still am! I had my own T-K classroom with 24 children and loved finding fun ways to lead them to learn. This included social studies, math, science, writing, language/literacy, dramatic play, as well as social and emotional in my daily goals. When attendance was low I would “float” to different classes and spend time with all ages, giving me experience with the entire school that was varying from ages 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4. The director of the school would love to give me a great reference. I have been told I have a calming presence yet spunky character so it works out great for children and I to bond! Additionally, I have a younger sister with extreme allergies and a mom with disabilities so I can understand special circumstances and will prioritize your needs and directions with the utmost respect. I want you to know that I was raised “treat others the way you want to be treated“. I will leave an area looking better than I found it, ask questions so I get things done right, and value your family and home as if it was my own.

“Sheena was wonderful with our two children!”

Jaidyn $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi - My name is Jaidyn and I am a recent UCSB graduate. I am offering child care, pet care, and household services. I love children and animals and have over 10 years of experience watching children of all ages (newborns to preteens). I am the oldest of five girls, which has given me a lot of patience in caring for children. I value hands on learning and quality time over technology or busy work. I have over 5 years of experience as a tutor ages K-12. My past responsibilities have included errand running, sports/school pick up & drop off, enrichment time, and fun things like personal cheer lessons. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands. I have been living with my grandpa and am comfortable with senior care. I can cook, drive to appointments, or do other tasks. (I am also a great pickleball partner!)
