When I was 15 I started working at Strawberry Canyon Explorer Camp where I worked for 8 years teaching children ages 4-10. At camp I worked with kids one on one as well as in large groups. I've also spent years volunteering in local elementary schools. I love teaching and hope to be an elementary school teacher in a few years. I've primarily worked with kids ages 4-7 but have experience with older as well. I love bringing them outside and teaching them sports, as well as helping them with that tough math problem. I am a graduate of San Francisco State University where I earned a BA in Child and Adolescent Development with a concentration in youth work and out of school time as well as a Minor in Africana studies. I also have a Masters (MA) in Drama Therapy at CIIS. I have worked as a coordinator for different youth programs throughout the Bay for over 7 years now abd a program manager of youth programming for the last 4 years.
