Hi! I’m Brunna, a professional nanny and certified Newborn Care Specialist with over 10 years of experience caring for children from newborns through the teenage years. I’m currently pursuing my Early Childhood Education degree and enjoy incorporating Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired, child-led practices into my care. I love creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities based on each child’s interests—from arts and crafts and sensory play to reading, outdoor adventures, and imaginative play. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun while giving parents peace of mind. A few important notes before booking: • Please let me know in advance if anyone in the household is sick, as I frequently care for newborns and young infants. • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are charged in full. • If a shift ends early, I charge for the originally agreed-upon hours, as I reserve that time specifically for your family. I look forward to meeting your family!
“Brunna was amazing with our kids. They do not take easily to new people but were, amazingly, comfortable with her right away. She really knows how to connect with each child. ”
I love children and children love me. I’m very lucky and blessed, children are enchanted with me and we naturally delight in each others company. I am a highly trained caregiver in providing for your child’s mental, emotional and physical needs. I bring over 25 years of practical experience with children, from infancy through teenage-hood. I’ve had unique opportunities of working with children ranging in needs from being deemed extremely gifted to being a patient in a lock-down psychiatric ward. It’s important to me that children are given the opportunity to and learn to cultivate their ability to: thrive, be resilient, express themselves fully, develop high levels of self-efficacy & self-worth, love and be loved. I love to play! I’m crafty, artsy, musical, adventurous, active, happy and have great boundaries! Children naturally love me, this makes my job very easy. 😍 (I’ve also worked as a private chef, caterer, and personal assistant.) Some of my experiences with children include: -2 summers of teaching K-5 Science and Art for summer school, 4 yrs of substitute teaching, 2.5 years teaching pre-school for 3'-4's, 2yrs as aTiger Cub 'mom', 2 years I ran a Children's Crisis Shelter, 4 yrs I worked in a lock-down Psychiatric Children's Facility. I was a licensed Respite Care Provider and Foster Parent. I contracted with Child Protective Services for 5 years. I created a program working with Autistic boys (1 yr), for 4.5 years I was a Family Builder Specialist and Program Manager, for 2 yrs I was a Child Developmental and Behavioralist Specialist. I have been a temporary, part time, and full time nanny and sitter for over 20years. Over Covid lockdown I ran a private school and course for grades k&1. I volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Adventure Scouts, food kitchens, Women’s DV shelters... Using my expertise in emotions, I teach classes for parents (and also for children) on empowerment, emotional development and intelligence, transformation, and self efficacy/esteem. ** Please note that I have cancellation policy - if you cancel a booking with in a week of, I charge a $50 cancellation fee or 50% of the booking, whichever is higher. After having several last minute cancellations I’ve had to implement this policy, thank you for understanding! **

Hello! My name is Amary, and I’m 38 years old. I’m the mother of two adorable boys and have 10 years of babysitting experience. During my time as a student in France, I worked as a babysitter, and when I moved to the US, I decided to continue in this field. I enjoy playing various games with the kids and am open to any activity that the parents prefer. Occasionally, I try to teach them French, which I speak fluently. I’m available for occasional babysitting jobs and only accept jobs that are at least 4 hours long. I’m comfortable with dogs, but I’m not comfortable with cats because I’ve been attacked by one in the past. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Best regards, Amary
Hi! I’m Julia, a professional nanny with over 10 years of experience supporting families and caring for children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged kids. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of São Paulo and over 12 Early Childhood Education credits, which have helped me develop a strong foundation in child development, communication, and creative learning. I’ve worked with a wide range of families, including those with infants (starting as early as 4 months), premature twins, toddlers, and multiple siblings. My experience includes everything from bottle feeding, sleep training, and potty learning to creating educational play activities, supporting developmental milestones and organizing enriching outings. I’ve also navigated food allergies, maintained structured routines and provided overnight care when needed. I believe in a gentle, respectful approach while holding firm and loving boundaries and I love fostering independence, curiosity, and confidence in every child I care for. What I love most about nannying is forming deep, trusting relationships with the children and families I work with. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch little ones grow and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment where they feel seen, supported, and celebrated. I aim to be a calm, steady presence in a family’s life. Someone who brings joy, structure and a helping hand whenever it's needed. A little about me: I live in Walnut Creek with my wife and two dogs. I’m fluent in both English and Portuguese, have a clean driving record and am certified in First Aid and CPR. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, cooking, hiking, and hosting friends for game nights or home-cooked meals. I’d love to learn more about your family and how I can support your child’s growth, happiness, and daily routine. Looking forward to connecting!
“Thanks so much, Julia! Can't wait to have you back!”
