Hi families! I bring a strong mix of education, experience, and heart to caregiving. I spent three years as a teacher's aide working with infants through pre-school aged children, and I'm also a proud aunt who helps babysit my three nephews and niece. For the past 4 years, I've worked as a wellness educator supporting children, teens, and older adults so caregiving across the lifespan is second nature to me. I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's in Mental Health and Wellness with a focus on family dynamics, and I'm a certified personal trainer. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring safety is always a top priority. Families describe me as attentive, caring, and trustworthy, while kids love my calm, patient energy and enjoy story time, arts and crafts, and fun learning activities. Since I work full-time during the week, I'm currently available for occasional date nights, some weekday evenings, and weekends. I'm responsible, highly educated, and truly enjoy helping children feel safe, engaged, and cared for while parents are away.
Hi! I have been babysitting since I was 10 years old as I am the oldest of 5 children. I currently work at Stanford Children’s Hospital as a Patient Companion and my duties were similar to babysitting duties and much more. I have worked at Stanford Children’s Hospital for nearly 4 years and previous to that I worked in senior homes as a CNA. I also have my CPR/BLS certification in pediatrics and adults. I have also volunteered to provide companionship to seniors in hospice care! My experience at Stanford has taught me so much about children such as how to promote developmental skills, newborn care, or even keep kids entertained while maintaining a safe environment. I have a bachelors in public health and a minor in women’s health issues and I am currently pursuing nursing school! I am relocating from the Bay Area which is why I have to resign from my job at Stanford Children’s, but I look forward to sitting for you!!
I am a very nurturing, caring, experienced and reliable mom of two college age boys. I have always been passionate about children and especially love working with infants to age 4. I started babysitting when I was 15 years old and after college I was a full time nanny for a special needs infant. I was also a respite care worker (part time) and administered medication and assisted a quadriplegic woman with her exercises and daily routines. I was a preschool teacher for 11 years and also worked as a behavior therapist, for over a year, for children diagnosed with autism. As a preschool teacher I worked with all ages, but for 7 years I taught the 3-4 year old class at Bnai Simcha Preschool In Pasadena. I especially love children’s literature and always had a very creative and engaging classroom! I have a BA in Sociology and have taken 19 units in early childhood education. I recently renewed my CPR and First Aid certifiication. I took the last year and a half off of work because my son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and hashimotos,, and I also wanted to be more available for my mom who is in the late middle stage of dementia. I look forward to working part time with 1-3 children and finding a family who is “a great fit.”
I have been working with children for about 8 years now. I started off volunteering in my home church nursery with 1-2 year olds, I did this for about 3 years! I also while in high school worked at a YMCA as a summer camp counselor and also working in their afterschool childcare program! I also spent 3 years in college working for a babysitting referral company in Tampa! Throughout my time with this agency I worked with many different families doing both occasional/one time sitting jobs while also nannying!
Caring for a child means supporting their safety, growth, and emotional well-being with consistency, respect, and compassion. I bring those values to every family I serve. I am an experienced, energetic caregiver and mother, CPR/AED and CPI certified, with formal study in child development as part of my degree requirements. I am active, dependable, and thrive in supportive, structured environments that help children build confidence, healthy habits, and strong social skills. Beyond my professional experience, I volunteer with children in the special needs community and youth sports, which has strengthened my ability to adapt, lead with patience, and respond calmly in high-stress situations. I take pride in being fair, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in each child’s well-being. I would be honored to support your family and provide a loving, safe, and encouraging environment for your loved one.
