Hi! My name is Natalie and am 25 years old. I'm an experienced babysitter with 10+ years of experience who has a passion for child care with a goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I received my bachelor's of science in nursing this past May at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland and am currently finding occasional babysitting jobs as I study for my state board exam. I wanted to go into nursing because I have always enjoyed helping people. My mom and grandmother owned a daycare for 13 years of my life and I was a big help, so I have experience taking care of newborns all the way to teenagers. During the pandemic I worked through zoom to provide one on one care with children that needed homework assistance or just virtual playtime. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school and sport practices, crafts, bedtime routines, and tutoring. I can also clean, tidy up the house and run errands if needed. My main goal is to always make sure children are having fun in an educational way and providing a safe environment for them. I am a big fan of arts and crafts so I always carry crafts around me in case a fun little activity can be done. I also love pets and take care of them as well! I have had many hamsters, cats, dogs, chinchillas, etc...so I am fine with giving them my extra care.
