I began babysitting at age 12 and have spent many years supporting children of all ages through both childcare and professional work. For the past 10 years, I have worked as a board-certified music therapist, helping children grow, learn, communicate, and build confidence in a variety of settings. I am also currently completing a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology, which has further strengthened my understanding of child development and emotional well-being. I have 10 years experience as a Preschool/Pre-K Teacher, a BA in Child Development, and have taken numerous Early Childhood Education courses. I’m very nurturing, patient, and kind and children seem to sense this about me right off the bat. Some of my favorite things to do with young children include: reading picture books, art projects, music and movement, walks, scavenger hunts, and cooking/baking projects. In my free time, I love to exercise, read, listen to music and podcasts, and visit with family and friends.
