Hello Families! A little about me is that I grew up taking care of all of my 4 siblings make sure they were fed and taken care of while also making sure the house is being taken care of too, I learned that I loved to clean. When I turned 18 I applied for Americorps and that is where I got to work with kids in preschool and school age kids and I even worked with middle school kids as well! And that is where I worked for about three years gaining more experience everyday working with all types of different kids!

I volunteered at a daycare for one year, where I assisted in caring for children ages 2–4. My responsibilities included supervising activities, helping with meals, supporting nap time routines, and reading to the children. This experience helped me develop strong childcare skills, patience, and the ability to create a safe and positive environment for young children. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from San Diego State University (SDSU) and am also comfortable caring for animals. I have previously completed CPR training; although my certification recently expired, I am willing to renew it before providing care for children or seniors. I am highly patient, dependable, and an effective communicator. In addition, I worked as a Shift Supervisor at KFC for eight years, where I independently managed shifts and was responsible for team leadership, conflict resolution, staff coordination, and delivering excellent customer service. This role strengthened my organizational skills, leadership abilities, and sense of responsibility. With extensive experience in the food service industry, I am knowledgeable about food safety regulations, proper food handling and preparation procedures, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
