From a young age I enjoyed babysitting for local families and playing with my neighbors' children. Later, I began taking full-time nanny jobs wherein I was responsible for meals, baths, pickups, and homework. This opportunity to form relationships with children was so fulfilling that I decided to pursue teaching at a local Steiner-inspired school after graduating college. The curiosity and enthusiasm of the children made teaching an immensely satisfying job, it didn't really feel like a job half of the time! Though I paused teaching in order to pursue other passions, I miss the connection which the job allowed and would love to reconnect to childcare in a some way. In my work I emphasize imaginative and outdoor play, consistent and loving boundaries, and healthy rhythms to ensure a joyful, nutritive, and reliable environment for the children.
