I have had the privilege of working as a dedicated nanny, providing exceptional care and support to children from various backgrounds. It has been incredibly rewarding to witness their growth and development, and I take pride in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for them. For three years, I had the wonderful opportunity to work as a toddler teacher at La Petite. This experience allowed me to contribute to the early education of young children and shape their journey in discovering the world around them. I gained valuable insights into child development, honed my classroom management skills, and developed engaging activities that helped foster their curiosity and imagination. During my two years as a tutor, I had the pleasure of assisting students in their academic journeys. By offering personalized instruction and guidance, I was able to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Adapting my teaching methods to cater to their individual learning styles was crucial in ensuring their success, and witnessing their progress was incredibly fulfilling. As a substitute teacher, I had the opportunity to step into various classrooms and adapt quickly to new environments. Most recently, I spent two years as a kindergarten teacher, a role that brought me immense joy and fulfillment. Witnessing their growth and enthusiasm for learning was truly gratifying. Collectively, my seven years as a nanny, three years as a toddler teacher at La Petite, two years as a tutor, substitute teacher, and kindergarten teacher have shaped me into a passionate and versatile educator. I am a physical therapist whom has worked with 0-3 kiddos as well as preschool and school aged kids. I have also worked extensively with the older adult population. I am active and love to garden, hike, bike,yoga , and pickleball.

I have been teaching in preschools for the last 5 years. I have mostly been working in Montessori and love the concept. I believe that it truly does take a village to raise a child and I am looking for not just a job but a family to build a relationship with.
