My name is Stacey and I have been working with children for over 20 years. I love creating a space for them to express themselves in their own unique way. I have experience with all ages and I particularly love working with toddlers and preschool ages. I have a masters in counseling psychology which has trained me to be present and aware to a child's needs, both obvious and subtle. I often use singing and dancing as a way of interacting and allowing playfulness to arise. In my spare time I dance, sing, meditate and read. I have already had a background check done recently through my volunteer work at Coming Home Hospice. Some details about some of the jobs I have had working with children: I spent about ten summers working as a camp counselor for children ranging from 2 through 12 years old. I was a live-in nanny for two boys for two years, starting at ages 5 and 7. While I was in graduate school I worked for a family with a 3 year old girl and 7 year old boy, and I also worked as an art teacher's assistant for 3rd graders. I spent two years counseling children in East Palo Alto from kindergarten through 5th grade. I had another live-in nanny job for 4 girls, 2 of them school age and the other two were twin toddlers starting at 14 months. This is when I discovered my love of working with young children. I've spent the last six years working with one family and have been with them since both kids were babies.
“Stacey was wonderful with my 2 month old baby and I can’t wait to have her over again tomorrow!”

Hi, my name is Paula and I’m a caring nanny with 4 years of experience—2 years in the United States and 2 years in my home country. I have enjoyed this experience working with children and creating a fun and engaging environment for them while I learn a lot. I have a big experience taking care of three kids (7,5,1 y.o) this experience in particular has been enriching my skills and my capacity of handling different challenging situations like daily duties , playtime for them, stressful times and overall my capacity to be mindfulness and remain calm wich has been the key for my daily routine. I’ve really learnt from my time as a babysitter the importance of stimulation for kids that’s one of my motivations to encourage kids to play outside, going for walks and just spend time in the nature . Another very important aspect is listening, I always try to be very attentive to the things children want to express or communicate . Communication is key between adults and I I’m an active person who enjoys playing volleyball, exploring the outdoors and discovering the little wonders of the world, I love animals and am happy to include them in the activities. I’m available during evenings, nights, and weekends, making it easy to accommodate your schedule. Whether it’s helping with homework, playing, getting them ready for bed , or taking them out. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
