Hi, my name is Stephanie and I'm the mom of 2 young adults and of Pretzel, our 2-year old rescue pup. I am offering child care, pet care and basic household tasks (i.e., cooking, laundry and light cleaning). My greatest passion is connecting with kids! I am the founder and director of Connect Us, a local nonprofit (www.connectusnow.org) whose camp, after-school and recess programs integrate children of all abilities and build social-emotional skills through collaborative play. For the past 18 years, I've had the privilege of engaging with hundreds of Connect Us kids ages 3-13, and I've learned a TON! Although Connect Us doesn't serve kids below age 3, I ADORE the little ones and throughout my life, have been the person who friends and family call upon to babysit their babies and toddlers. Due to federal funding cuts to nonprofits, Connect Us has been unable to obtain the funding it requires to continue our programs. We will be closing our doors after our final summer camp program in July. I not only bring your family many years of parenting and child development skills, I have a storage room full of play equipment, arts and crafts and games that I'm happy to share with your kiddos! I am a young professional in the finance industry in Denver and a long time nanny/ babysitter. I have over 12 years of experience and am CPR certified. The majority of families I have worked for have had children aged 6 and under, however I have experience watching (and mainly tutoring) kids in the elementary to highschool range. I grew up in Denver and am still very close to several of the families I’ve worked with over the years. I’ve always loved caring for/ teaching others and dream of being a mom one day.
