Booked by 3 families in Washington Navy Yard, DC

I am a recent graduate of Elon University, with a degree in Statistics with a concentration in Actuarial Science with minors in Asian Studies, Finance and Accounting. I was a Camp Counselor at the JCCSF several summers ago, have volunteered at The First Tee of San Francisco, The First Tee of San Francisco, Horizon's (an organization that serves underserved students) and have been babysitting for eight years for kids for a wide age range. I love babysitting because I get to build relationships with the kids I babysit, and working with kids is something I love. I now currently reside in Alexandria, Virginia working at an accounting firm in their Advisory practice!

“We loved that Samantha was very personable and easy going. Our son took to her immediately. She arrived on time and was interested in his routine. She asked good questions and was enjoyable to be around. We will definitely hire her again. As new parents, knowing that she’s infant CPR certified gave us extra confidence so we could really enjoy a relaxing evening out. ”

Jasmine $20 per hour for 1 child

I have over a year of experience working in a school setting, primarily with K3 and K5 age groups, where I supported young children in their daily routines, learning activities, and social development. Working in the classroom has helped me build strong skills in patience, communication, and creating a structured yet fun environment for kids. In addition to my school experience, I have also babysat on the side, giving me one-on-one experience caring for children and managing responsibilities. I enjoy planning engaging activities such as walks around the park, playing games in the backyard, arts and crafts, reading storybooks, outdoor scavenger hunts, and creative play that keeps children active and entertained. My background has helped me become dependable, attentive, and confident in providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and feel comfortable.

Hi, my name is Olivia. I am currently in nursing school. I am offering baby sitting care and some household services. I do have my CNA license and I have grown up taking care of my 5 nieces and nephews which included bathing, cooking and just keeping them company. Personality-wise I would say I’m very caring, I can be quiet sometimes and I am loving.

Flaminia $25 per hour for 1 child

I’m an experienced, energetic and responsible young adult woman. I love kids and have experience both in house babysitting 2 young girls over 5 years, as well as working in a performance training facility with the youth group of ages 3-15 years old. I have loved teaching young girls and boys to move their bodies safely & efficiently and know how to keep them busy. I’ve worked with both disabled, hyperactive, and the overly shy kids. I believe my experience leading large groups (10+ kids) of youth can make me a unique babysitter. Currently, I am a full time personal trainer based in DC and a holistic nutrition & health coach for my own wellness brand.. and I just miss working with kids!! Looking for a part time/ occasional gig to fill in my free time and flexible schedule (I’m also new to the area, so happy to see different neighborhoods and meet nice families!)

Vilmarie $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello! I have over 10 years of experience in early childhood education and ~4 years of experience babysitting. I was an Early Head Start and Disabilities Coordinator and I am now an Early Learning Specialist focusing on coaching teachers of children under the age of 3. I have extensive experience working with children of varying ages and needs. When working with children, I always aim to be incredibly present and attentive in order to best respond to their needs. I follow the motto "control the environment, not the child", which allows me to create incredibly safe environments while ensuring children feel confident in exploring their space. Also, I love being active and silly when babysitting! Sports, arts and crafts, book reading, singing (albeit very off-key), messy sensory exploration, and awkward Zumba dancing are all activities I love participating in with young children. As a native Spanish speaker, you'll also find me introducing the language quite often into conversations or through music. I am CPR and First-Aid certified as well as a Certified Autism Specialist.
