Aaj $18 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Washington, DC

Hi! I’m Aaj, a 20 year old junior currently studying at American University. I’m offering childcare services. I love being with children - my mother has run a preschool for the past 21 years, and I spent many years volunteering and interning with her, as a TA in classes and organizing Sports Days. I have also been involved in numerous charities that work with impoverished children in Nepal, where I used to run weekly activities that benefit early childhood development (reading/writing, arts and crafts, sports etc.). I have also completed an Early Childhood Montessori Education program, as a supplemental to my time at the preschool. I grew up with 5 dogs, and I love all sorts of pets!

Hello! My name is Abigail and I am currently a full-time undergraduate student at American University. I will graduate in May 2026 with a degree in Justice and Law and a minor in Spanish language. I have experience working with children of all ages. I've worked as an au pair overseas with a child with autism and down syndrome. I have tutored a class before and am comfortable with any school work assistance needed. I know CPR and was previously certified. And I am fluent in Spanish. As for pet care, I've had all sorts of animals my entire life and would love to watch any pet you have with the upmost care. I am comfortable watching dogs, cats, small rodents, fish, reptiles, etc. I love all animals! I am kind and patient and would love for you to consider me as your future caretaker! Scherly $23 per hour for 1 child

I’m a mother of two teenage boys and a graduate student with a background in history, which has helped me develop strong organizational skills and a calm, patient approach to caregiving. I also have experience working as a nanny, where I cared for both a toddler and a six-month-old baby who truly thrived under my care. I enjoy creating a warm and engaging environment for children, with plenty of hands-on activities, reading time, simple learning games, and outdoor play. Sara $25 per hour for 1 child

I have over 2.5 years of hands-on childcare experience as an au pair, caring for two children from infancy (4 months old) through their toddler years. My responsibilities included feeding, diaper changes, nap routines, age-appropriate educational activities, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. In addition, I volunteer regularly with the Pre-K ministry at my local church, where I help supervise and engage a group of up to 10 children ages 4–6. I lead crafts, read stories, organize interactive activities, and help create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for the children. I am a responsible, patient, and caring caregiver who enjoys supporting children’s development through play, learning, and positive relationships. As a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, I can also provide language exposure for families who value a multicultural environment.
