To get personal, I am an older sister myself so I take younger children's safety very seriously as I have experienced first hand how important it is that a parent feels confident their child is safe. To follow that, I have currently been a nanny for one year, but also have my own job outside of that, serving! I have volunteered at after school programs, I truly do have a passion for becoming a safe space for children to share their creativity and a reliable resource for the parents. While I have two years of experience working with children ages 6-11 in an afterschool program, I also have been an older sister for almost nine years. I have experienced nighttime cries, bad attitudes, fights between siblings, organizing toys, clean-up after dinner, etc. I enjoy providing excellent care while ensuring the child's safety is my number one priority, like it would be the parents. I am a very experienced cat lady! I have lived with and cared for cats my entire life - being owned by 5 of them now. I also have volunteered at our local Humane Society for 9 years which has taught me a lot on the medical and behavior sides of cats.
