Hello! My name is Celeste. I am a former teacher, experienced nanny, caregiver, and CPR-certified professional with over 20 years of experience working with children and seniors. I have taught in private and international schools, including Shorecrest Preparatory School and Montessori environments. I have cared for newborns, toddlers, school-age children, teenagers, and older adults, always providing compassionate and dependable care. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, nature exploration, educational games, and creating meaningful experiences that help children learn and grow. As a bilingual English-Spanish educator, I naturally incorporate learning opportunities into daily routines. I also have several years of experience providing companion care for seniors, assisting with daily activities, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, errands, and emotional support. I am a mother of two adult children. I am a Mimi to two wonderful grandchildren. I have a chocolate lab and four cats at home. I am very responsible and respectful. I am hard working and dedicated. I love people and animals. I can do lite chores or run errands also. I can be flexible. I have a full time job I work at Monday thru Friday from 6:00 to 2:30pm. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh.

I have a combined twenty years experience in education and care. I have provided services for infant, pre-k, elementary school, middle and high school, adult learners and elderly. Also, I have experience providing services and care to those in memory care facilities. Additionally, I am an avid animal lover and activist (I have two animal babies of my own). I have experience caring for large and small breed dogs, cats, non exotic birds, and ferrets.

I am a 4th year Optometry Student and Nova Southeastern University. I have some experience children more so from a clinical optometry and vision therapy standpoint. I believe this to be a unique skill set that allows me to more observant of your child. I am CPR certified as it is required for my profession. I have five younger cousins that I’ve had the privilege to watch and help take care over the years. I have a little bit of experience as a caretaker as I was briefly my grandmother’s caretaker up until her passing. My boyfriend and I have a dog so I’m comfortable taking care and being around them. I believe I would describe myself as dedicated and passionate. With children, I can be very fun but I also know when it is necessary to be serious.
