I have over a decade of experience caring for children from birth through young adults. I have virtually infinite patience, am attentive, interactive, and always do my best to exceed the expectations of the families I work with. I am a non-smoker, have reliable transportation, and am frequently available for evening, weekend, and overnight care on short notice. Prior to attending college and pursuing my bachelor's degree in business administration, I was contemplating a career in education, completed training to become a preschool teacher, and began babysitting for several local families. Though I am now in the information technology field full-time I continue to provide childcare services as my schedule allows. I specialize in last minute care, families visiting the area, date nights, one time, and occasional evening and weekend care needs and always welcome creative assignments. I'm fine with caring for mildly ill children and would be willing to discuss other specialty situations such as working with special needs children and traveling with children on a case by case basis. I enjoy everything from art projects and bedtime stories with a preschooler to subtly shadowing a teen who needs supervision while out of the house. I have a very mild-mannered personality, but enforce rules as necessary. I take safety seriously and have current certification in Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid, as well as specialty training for water-based emergency situations and Epi-Pen administration. Examples of what I've been hired for include: *In-home care at child's home (day/evening/overnight/week-long) *Summer camp instructor (groups of 10+) *Day trips to theme parks and other area locations when parents didn't want to go or needed an extra pair of hands *House sitting and monitoring teens while parents were out of town *Chaperoning a teen to Germany for two weeks as she participated in a film project My rate is negotiable based upon the number of children I'm expected to care for, length of care, and what I'm expected to do while I'm with the children. I look forward to hearing from you to discuss details of your childcare needs!
Hi - My name is Kyra! I am an aunt of 12 and have been a built in babysitter for the past six years. I am offering babysitting for ages 2 and up, animal care, as well as, house-sitting. Excluding family, I have been babysitting for a little over 2 years. My responsibilities have included driving to and from school, extracurricular activities, and tutoring. I love entertaining the littles with arts & crafts as well as any physical activities they enjoy or are recommended by parents. When babysitting school-age kids, I have found being younger has encouraged bonding. We always have fun, but you can still count on me to maintain the household rules. I can still have fun playing dress up, dolls or dinosaurs, as well as any sport activities! I am definitely a creative and outdoorsy person, so I try to avoid screens and inspire children’s imagination, artistic and/or athletic skills.
Hi, I'm Suzana, 31 years old, and Brazilian. I’ve been in the US since 2018. I've been working as a service provider with childcare and home care for about 9+ years. Regarding childcare I have experience taking care of boys and girls, newborns to 14 years old. And since 2020 I’ve been working as a personal assistant/ house manager in parallel. About my personality: I’m kind, communicative, proactive, straightforward, and trustworthy. Household/personal assistance: I’m happy to help with: tidying, organization, laundry, dishes, trash, vacuum, schedule appointments, tasks and appointments reminders, booking trips, deal with contractors, social media manager, email cleaning, chop food, and more. But, I don’t do deep cleaning, I’m not good at it, I rather let the professionals cleaners handle this part. Childcare: 9+ years of experience taking care of boys and girls, newborns to 14 years old. I also have experience with special needs kids: diabetes, AHDH and premature. My disciplinary style: I like to listen to the kids and let them make decisions whenever is possible. I rather be more mindful than authoritarian, but it is important to me the kids know boundaries and I encourage discipline and respect. I also encourage learning, development and socialization. Tasks I’m comfortable doing as a nanny: play, drive, feed with bottle/spoon, give baths, help with homework, cook, bedtime routine, change diapers, make crafts, take to parks/museums, and go on little adventures such as a treasure hunt or a kid friendly hike. Some activities I enjoy taking kids to: Music class, swimming activities, story time and arts and crafts programs. Let me know if you are interested and I can also provided detailed experience. I have great references to share. Looking foward to hear from you. Have a great one!
Hi! My name is Ashley, I’m going into my junior year of college next semester, and I’m 20 years old. I’m looking to babysit/nanny/dog sit this summer! I dog sat and occasionally baby sat for a family my first year of college but I have never formally had a job as a babysitter- however I’ve had jobs and done volunteering that have dealt with kids. I worked in a uniform clothing store last year. The clothing store had uniforms for many private schools and I would help children pick out their uniforms. I volunteered for 6 years every summer for vacation bible school and was in charge of a group of kids each week. I can drive kids (I have a car), am very good at arts and crafts, can tutor, and I’m athletic so I like outdoor activities. I am very patient, caring, kind, respectful, and easy to work with. I have a lot of free time this summer and would love to help babysit/nanny children!
I am a caring and responsible childcare provider with professional experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), specializing in working with children with autism and special needs. While I have not worked formally as a nanny, I am also a mother, which has given me hands-on experience in daily childcare, safety, and child development. I currently work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, so I am available for afternoon, evening, and weekend childcare. I focus on supporting positive behavior, routine building, and developmental skills using structured and supportive strategies when needed. I am patient, reliable, and deeply committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children.
