As a K–6 teacher for the past 6 years, I’ve had the joy of helping children grow academically and emotionally through creativity, patience, and consistent routines. Arts and emotional expression are important in my work, and I believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and encouraged. I take tutoring seriously and love creating clear goals that lead to quick, meaningful improvement. Outside the classroom, I’m a huge dog lover and have experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. I approach both teaching and pet care with heart, responsibility, and a warm presence.

I come from a lifelong private Catholic school background and graduated from a college-preparatory high school in Los Angeles. I am currently a full-time Marine Biology student at Hawaii Pacific University, balancing academics with several years of hands-on childcare experience as a teacher’s aide, math tutor, and volleyball coach. I have assisted with lesson planning, supervised field trips, led student groups, tracked progress, and supported children one-on-one while communicating closely with parents and staff. I’m patient, dependable, organized, and calm under pressure, with strong leadership and caregiving skills. I’m Filipino, understand Tagalog and Spanish, and am comfortable working with diverse families.
