Hello! My name is Celia. I am a college student at Gonzaga University. I am a psychology major passionate about working with children of all ages! I have teaching experience and would be happy to help tutor children or help with schoolwork. I also love to teach art to children! I have lots of experience working with children with cognitive disabilities and children with trauma or behavioral challenges. I also love animals and am more than happy to care for pets as well.

Hello families, I’m very glad to meet you. The first thing you should know about me is that I am a Christian and I love Jesus with all of my heart! The second thing you should know about me is that I love children of all ages. The third thing you should know about me is that I am a wife and mother. The fourth thing you should know about me is that I’ve been taking care of children since I was a teenager. I have been a preschool teacher and a homeschooling mom. My boys will be graduating from high school next Saturday. My husband and I have been married for 26 1/2 years. I’m looking forward to getting to know your families and playing with your children. PS. I enjoy being with children because they make me laugh and smile. I see all children as a gift from God who are designed to be loved, cherished and enjoyed.

Mom for 21 years, 2 girls, very active, preschool teacher at Dance Center preschool age 3-5, Paraeducator for Spokane Public Schools 3 years, supports staff at SPS for over 10 years, previous fitness instructor, I have 4 cats and a dog and a lizard, love the outdoors, very crafty(art, crochet, painting, various crafts). CPR certified, prior EMT training, background check cleared thru Spokane Public Schools. I love to read and craft, I’m active in many sports(Zumba, hockey, skating, cross training). If you count taking care of my younger brother with Down Syndrome I have many years of childcare experience. Outside of my family, I’ve worked with friends providing childcare (mostly ages 4-10), pet sitting and house sitting services. Additionally, I have 3 years of experience in a retirement home and 1 year private caregiving. I hold a BLS/CPR certification and within the past year, I obtained my EMT license.
