Hi! I'm Crystal, and I am a singer and a Certified Full-Spectrum Doula. I am currently offering childcare, pet care, and senior care I love singing, reading, cooking, arts and crafts, and education. I believe that exploring and developing independence and creativity are super important in every stage of life. It builds confidence and breeds curiosity, which never goes away. I have worked with children in various settings and all age brackets (newborn to 16). Some of my responsibilities have been as a Nanny (household chores, errands, appointments, cooking, getting kiddos ready for school, and bedtime routine), an after-school instructor (classroom management, homework assistance, SEL activities, crafts, reading tutoring, communication with teachers to understand better where students are, communication with parents about expectations), and as a camp counselor. I have experience with senior care, and pet care as well. I can drive to appointments, pick up, ensure the correct dosages of medication are taken, and prepare meals, etc. I currently assist in doing so for my own grandmother. Hello, I have about 25 years of experience taking care of children from birth to 18 years old. Some of the following experiences include, diaper changing, feeding children, sleep routine, food preparation, laundry, car pool, doctor visits, homework/ project assistance, dishes, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming. I also have experience in helping the elderly, feeding, dressing, bathing, medication reminders and assist around with wheelchair/walker. I have more than 15 years of experience with dogs, feeding and cleaning. I received my high school diploma at Richard Daley College in Chicago. My family and I own three dogs, which I successfully potty trained myself! A fun fact, I managed to write and illustrate my own children’s (“Goldfish”) book. Yes, I do have a family of my own, but it has given me so much experience (and still does) that if its ok with you, I would be happy to help in any way that I can.

I am fun loving of all kids and pets. With my own daughter I learned a lot about growing children and how to teach and help them grow into the best part of themselves. I also know what it means for parents to have a break, and can easily make sure to give you the peace of mind needed when taking a much needed break.

I am a prek sped teacher and willing to work with special needs children or many at once but price may increase for multiples not special needs special prices. However, I want to have clear expectations. I am ell certified and almost a learning behavior specialist. I love art outdoors science and sports! I love to teach through hands on methods and do not raise my voice to children unless an emergency. If this happens, I’ll explain why to the child and tell you. I’m comfortable with many little ones.
