Hi! I'm Crystal, and I am a singer and a Certified Full-Spectrum Doula. I am currently offering childcare, pet care, and senior care I love singing, reading, cooking, arts and crafts, and education. I believe that exploring and developing independence and creativity are super important in every stage of life. It builds confidence and breeds curiosity, which never goes away. I have worked with children in various settings and all age brackets (newborn to 16). Some of my responsibilities have been as a Nanny (household chores, errands, appointments, cooking, getting kiddos ready for school, and bedtime routine), an after-school instructor (classroom management, homework assistance, SEL activities, crafts, reading tutoring, communication with teachers to understand better where students are, communication with parents about expectations), and as a camp counselor. I have experience with senior care, and pet care as well. I can drive to appointments, pick up, ensure the correct dosages of medication are taken, and prepare meals, etc. I currently assist in doing so for my own grandmother. As a proud mother of two grown, independent adult children, my nest may be empty, but my heart is still completely full of love for little ones. I am a prek sped teacher and willing to work with special needs children or many at once but price may increase for multiples not special needs special prices. However, I want to have clear expectations. I am ell certified and almost a learning behavior specialist. I love art outdoors science and sports! I love to teach through hands on methods and do not raise my voice to children unless an emergency. If this happens, I’ll explain why to the child and tell you. I’m comfortable with many little ones.
