Hi there! My name is Caitlyn and I am 30 years old with over 13 years of true nannying and babysitting experience. I first started babysitting neighborhood kids at age 15, quickly becoming the go to babysitter on my block for date nights. I was a full time nanny for 2 kiddos (7 & 10) in Evanston the summer of 2014, and a full time overnight camp counselor the summer before that for a cabin full of 8 year olds. Right after graduating from Loyola in 2017, I became a teachers assistant at a private preschool/daycare in Lakeview, helping out with all classrooms from newborns-5 years. Experienced with children of all ages, I love supporting continuous development and growth and take a lot of pride in my ability to connect with and teach children; I am punctual, experienced, and would like to think lots of fun :) After working in tech sales for 5 years, my heart called me back to early childhood, and after being a short term nanny for a 3mo old girl before she began daycare full time last summer, I began teaching in Children’s House (3-5 years) at Guidepost Montessori. My fiancé and I just moved to Fox River Grove to be closer to family, so I’m available in the surrounding areas most weekday evenings after 5:30-6pm, and occasional weekends! Can’t wait to hear from you :)
I've been babysitting my whole life and really enjoy spending time with children. They are genuine, inventive and energetic and a welcome change from the adults I spend most of my time with! I'd love to meet to see if I would be a good fit for you. I began babysitting when I was 12 and haven't stopped since. My youngest sister was born when I was 14 so I have day-to-day experience caring for a young child in my own family. I babysat my way through college, for individual families and for a few churches in a daycare setting. During the summer I worked day camp for school age children and also did respite work with handicapped children. After college I worked full time in the infant and toddler rooms of an Athletic center in Denver for a year - also privately babysitting for several of those families.
Hi, my name is Nicole and I am a mom of two children - an 8 month old & almost 4 year old. Given this experience, I feel comfortable caring for babies and toddlers.
Hi there, my name is Josie! I’m 20 years old and currently live in the northwest suburbs of IL. I have a background in business entrepreneurship, but one of my many passion lies in caregiving and working with children. My most recent role was as a Youth Development Professional for a nonprofit organization, where I had the pleasure of working with children ranging from infants to middle schoolers. I’ve been involved in childcare informally since I was 14 and began working professionally at 18. I am CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in my care. I truly enjoy engaging with kids during both playtime and feedings. Quiet moments like nap time are very special to me. Colleagues often describe me as kind, hardworking, intelligent, and easygoing. In addition to childcare, I offer services such as cleaning, cooking, and organizing. For families with pets, I’m also happy to help with walking and feeding. Outside of work, I enjoy hobbies like cooking, exercising, painting, and dancing. I love building strong connections with both children and their families and would be honored to support your household :)
Hi, I'm Brooklyn! I am a junior at the University of Kentucky studying Clinical Leadership and Management, and I am back in the Chicago suburbs for the summer. Those who know me would describe me as responsible, friendly, and hard working. I love working with kids because I enjoy watching them learn and grow, and providing a nurturing space for them to do so. I am fulfilled by helping others, and when I see that a child is happy, it makes me happy. I am also an animal lover and am more than willing to help out with your furry friends! I'm looking for a job that offers flexible hours and a comfortable environment. In addition to caring for children and pets, I am also willing to help with minor household duties and provide transportation. I have had experience with children of all ages since I was about 13, but growing up as an older sister, I have had the opportunity to care for children nearly my whole life and find it incredibly rewarding. I look forward to helping your family in any way that I can!
“Brooklyn is great with our daughter. We’ve loved having her watch our daughter. She is warm, dependable, and completely engaged—our daughter looks forward to every visit. Brooklyn is great with routines, playtime, and communication, and we always feel at ease knowing she’s in good hands. Highly recommend!”
