Hello, I’m Vera a very caring grandmother who continues to care for children and 4 legged pets. I am now a family friend after caring (nannied) a 15 yr old girl & a 9 yr old boy, cared for boy since he was 3 months old & is presently in 4th grade. He considers me his grandmother. He spends overnighters on weekends because he misses me. I also work on a doggie sitting service when friends and neighbors need a pet sitter. I continue to being active and assist with children and dogs in a very positive environment. March, 2025 began to Nanny to a 2 year old boy. I am located in Carol Stream, Illinois. I've been babysitting my whole life and really enjoy spending time with children. They are genuine, inventive and energetic and a welcome change from the adults I spend most of my time with! My youngest sister was born when I was 14 so I have day-to-day experience caring for a young child in my own family. I babysat my way through college, for individual families and for a few churches in a daycare setting. During the summer I worked day camp for school age children and also did respite work with handicapped children. After college I worked full time in the infant and toddler rooms of an Athletic center in Denver for a year - also privately babysitting for several of those families.
