My name is Amy, I'm 29 with 8 years of paid nanny experience. I have a Childhood Development Associates and an Early Childhood Education degree. I'm certified in first aid/ CPR for both children and infants and I'm licensed to teach under the age of 12. I am safe sleep certified, and trained in water safety/survival swim. I worked as a behavioral therapist and transitioned to nannying to have a more direct impact (which has become my career), I also have a ton of experience with infants and I'm a huge fan of sensory play. I like to take kids out to teach real world skills and develop/further interests. I am very careful with the way I speak to children and try not to coddle. I prioritize learning and clear communication, so I always explain reasoning before action. I genuinely just love building little humans and watching them come into their own!
