Hello there, families! Here is a bit about myself I am a 26 year old former certified infant and toddler teacher! I have my CPR and First Aid up to date. I have been working with children for the last 11 years outside of the daycare setting. Doing things such as nannying and internships! I have worked in the daycare setting for the last 5 years gaining tons of experience for working with children infants-preschool age. I hope to hear back from you!
Hi there! I'm Allie, and I'm a Boston-based college professor and professional actor. I’m currently on summer break and available for short-term childcare opportunities! A bit about me—I moved to Boston to pursue my MFA in Theatre Education at Emerson College, but before that I lived in New York City, where I worked as a full-time nanny (and professional actor!). I have over ten years of childcare and children's education experience, and I'd love to meet you and your family. As a babysitter, I understand that every child and family is unique. I specialize in working with school-age children, children with severe allergies, children of LGBTQ+ families, high net worth families, and children with extra support needs (Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety disorder, mood regulation disorder). I work carefully with parents to create a customized care plan to help their children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. And as a professional actor, I also love to have fun and encourage imaginative play! My full resume and references are available upon request. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
Hello Families! My name is Rashida and I am a native Bostonian. I am a licensed and experienced Child Care Professional. I have over 20 years of teaching experience and child care experience and I love working with children! I have my Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and I am infant, toddler, preschool lead teacher qualified and director qualified. I love working with children because I enjoy helping them learn, discover and grow. Seeing and helping infants and toddlers reach new milestones and watching and giving preschoolers and early learners tools to discover the world around them is a joy and is exciting to see. For the past 2 years I have also been teaching Early Childhood trainings and enrichment classes to Educators. The program is in partnership with statewide EEC programs. I am available to provide child care in Boston and in the Greater Boston area. I look forward to meeting and speaking with you!
Hello families! Im Azja with an extensive background in education and early childhood development and behavioral health. A little about me...I am the only child . I've been working with and assisting teachers over 10+ years . All my experiences over the years have came from babysitting , volunteering at daycares, and working at camps was great training and experience to contribute to my early child and care, which is what I have majored in college . I also have worked as an ABA therapist summer of 2019 working with children on the autism spectrum while in undergrad . I have done volunteer work for children services of Roxbury, worked at camp joy ( children with special needs) and community centers such as the boys and girls club . I have worked in the field in all classroom levels between daycare and fifth grade, including being a behavioral aide . Over the small amount of time I have obtained a lot of experience with a wide range of ages, needs, as well as multiples. Willing to do educational activities. I'm a firm believer that the best way for children to learn is through play (Piaget). So I always try my best to "kill two birds with one stone" - have fun AND learn something, all in one activity.
“Azja had top notch communication and punctuality. Also working with us last minute due to a cancellation and squeezing in an interview. Worked well with our daughter on her first non-family babysitter and did a great job managing the evening. Would recommend!”
Hello! My name is Helen, and I am an experienced babysitter, tutor, and teacher. I recently passed the bar exam and am looking to pick up some occasional work during my full-time job search. I love the outdoors and engaging children in imaginative play and prefer to minimize screen time when possible. I like helping kids create, learn, and have fun in ways that build their independence and self-esteem, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. I look forward to working with you and your child(ren)!
“Helen was professional and communicated well, on time, and the kids loved her.”
