I’ve been a BT for the past year, supporting kids with autism and a wide range of behavioral needs, from ages 2 to 11. I’ve received professional training in managing tantrums, emotional regulation, and challenging behaviors—and I genuinely love what I do. I went to a tech high school and got my preschool certification there and then went on to a community college and got certified with working with infants and toddlers. Hello, my name is Nicole and I am a 20 year old student-athlete who is back in town for winter break. I have grown up surrounded by so much family, which I am extremely grateful for. I have years of experience watching three of my younger cousins, ages from an infant, a three year old, and a five year old. Additionally, I watched over my high school volleyball coach’s three kids with similar ages, and several different families who associated with her! My mom raised three children herself, so I understand how difficult it can be to balance work and finding care for your child. While I’m home, I’d love to help as much as possible with the additional time I have!

Nurturing children and supporting families has been my passion for 13 years. Recently I was a 1:1 paraprofessional for a student with down syndrome and I was a substitute paraprofessional for a student with autism. I am a patient, creative caregiver who loves engaging kids through outdoor sports, educational games, and imaginative crafts. I am comfortable managing multiple children and following your household rules to maintain consistency. I value open communication and will provide updates through your preferred method, whether that is a text or a conversation at pickup. I also assist with meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping to keep your home running smoothly. I’ve been a CNA since the beginning of the year and have always had a heart for caregiving. As the oldest of four, I naturally took on the role of caretaker for my younger siblings, which helped shape my nurturing and patient personality. I love caring for others and making sure they feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether it’s helping with kids, assisting seniors, or providing household support, I move with compassion, responsibility, and love.
