During high school, I completed two years in an Early Childhood Education program, where I gained hands-on experience working with children and completed four placements in elementary school classrooms. These experiences taught me how to be patient, responsible, dependable, and comfortable working with children of different ages and personalities. I also have experience caring for children outside of school. I have two nieces and two nephews who I spend time with, as well as experience babysitting a one-year-old. I have been babysitting/ had experience with small children since I was 9 or 10- first with my little brother and cousins and later babysitting outside the home.
