I have been babysitting for well over 10 years, beginning in high school. I have experience with all ages, but the most experience with infant-2 years. I was a teacher in a learning center in the infant room for 2.5 years, have been a nanny for more than 6 families, all but one with an infant at start. I also have helped with my niece and nephews since they were newborns. I am adaptable, a quick learner, and able to multitask effortlessly. I believe that caregivers are a huge part of young children’s lives and can aid or deter development depending on the care given. I believe in teaching emotional regulation, working through big feelings together, and teaching positive morals and values to help young children grow, learn, and become the best versions of themselves.
Hi my name is Kaitlyn I'm 31 years old and I work as an LPN downtown. I started babysitting when I was in 7th grade and that was the only job I had throughout high school. I babysat 2 little boys every Wednesday and sometimes I would come over on the weekends if I was needed. I have 2 baby nephews that I watch so I am still around children a lot helping out with whatever my sister needs help with. I grew up with a variety of animals from birds, fish, dogs, cats, hamsters, turkeys, ducks, frogs, crawfish, sea monkeys, etc. I love animal all of gods creatures deserve love even spiders. My mother worked at the Animal Humane Society when I was growing up and so not only did we have a variety of pets at home that we cared for, but we would also go to her work and volunteer and take care of the animals there as well. I also spent a lot of time with my grandmother when I was growing up so I would help her a lot and then eventually when I went to college I got my CNA license and throughout college the only places I worked were assisted living places and also in the memory care area. Flexible to discuss the pay rate and hours.
Hi all! My name is Alex, and I’m currently taking a gap year before starting PA school. I’m a certified CNA, BLS certified, and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of St. Thomas. I currently work casually at a hospital and recently served as an in-home PCA for a woman with ALS. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide compassionate, attentive care — and I bring that same level of dedication when working with children. I also have experience babysitting and have volunteered at a youth camp, helping lead fun and safe activities for kids of various ages. With my background in healthcare and child care, I offer a calm, reliable, and engaging presence. I’m especially attentive to safety and enjoy supporting children’s learning and creativity. 📍 Available for part-time or occasional babysitting Ideal Rates: $20–$25+/hour (depending on number of kids) Comfortable with all ages Located in Woodbury, MN If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and nurturing to care for your kids, I’d love to connect! Feel free to message me with any questions or to schedule a time to chat.
Hi! My name is Beydan and I am currently a senior at the University of Minnesota I’ve been babysitting since I was 16 and have experience caring for kids of all different ages! As the oldest in my family, I’ve always been the one looking after the little ones, so being around kids has always felt super natural to me. I also spent two years working with children at autism centers, which gave me even more experience working with different personalities and needs. I enjoy spending time with kids, whether that’s playing games, doing activities, helping with homework, or just hanging out and keeping them entertained. I’m patient, easygoing, dependable, and would love to be someone your family can feel comfortable and happy having around!
After babysitting friends children and my own nieces and nephews for 20 years. I’ve recently started doing it for others. My friends and family will tell you that I really like kids and kids really like me. I'm good at crafting, helping with homework, and keeping kids busy away from the screens. In addition to the babies and toddlers I am presently nannying, I currently have three nieces who are 7, a niece who is 10, nephews that are 14 and 18 and nieces that are 20 and 21. So I am familiar with child development from birth to adulthood. What I love about little ones is how fast they learn and they change so much it’s like meeting a new kid every week! I’m not just an occasional babysitter. I have been with these kids anywhere from 10 to 30 hours a week depending on the week. If I’ve learned one thing it is that every child is different, every parent is different and clear communication is the key to success. I will work hard to meet your expectations, ask questions where necessary and use my judgment in emergencies. I’m a non-smoker, I have a reliable car and I am fully vaccinated for COVID and everything else. I am CPR certified and I have taken classes in SIDS/abusive head trauma and pediatric first aid.
