My name is Sarah. I am 22 years old and currently a senior online at The King's University. I am planning to go get my master's of Arts in Clinical Counseling in the fall. I do have my own car. I have a really big family so I have been babysitting kids for as long as I can remember. When I was 16, I watched my 6-month-old cousin for a weekend by myself. I have tons of cousins between the ages of 0-15 whom I have babysat on many occasions. I have watched multiple kids at the same time on many occasions as well. My mom worked at a daycare for teachers' kids for a few months and I helped out a couple of times there also. I have more recently been working with a nanny company in Raleigh NC. During my time at this job, I was with multiple families. I helped them do laundry, and dishes and (most importantly and fun) played with the kids. I am very sad to leave and have only been due to moving to KC, Missouri. I love kids and I understand the importance of who influences a young life. When I babysit, it is important to me that the child has the attention they need. I had babysitters often when I was younger and I know that sometimes when they didn't play games with me or always engage with me it hurt my feelings. With that in mind, I am willing to help with homework as well as play games and engage with your kids. I am currently a nanny and do lots of baby sitting in the Kansas City area. I have experience as a full-time nanny for a 1.5 and 3 year old. I also have experience with newborns, babies and toddlers, as well as young kids and teenagers. I’ve taught gymnastics to all elementary school ages and have experience as a middle school/high school youth group leader. I have limited experience with children with autism.
