Hello Loves, my name is Nicole and I’m currently pursuing my Masters at Faulkner University. I will be serving schools in Asheville, NC in the fall 2025 academic term. I offer child care, academic support, pet care, and household services. I am willing to do some non-medical senior care as both of my parents are predominantly independent seniors. I love spending time with living history I love caring for children and have watched newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids (including twins!) since I was 14 years old. I have worked in daycare centers, public schools, summer camps, and churches. I can cook, clean, and assist around the home. I can event and party plan. I can chaperone trips and schedule playdates. I love helping and watching children learn, develop their unique personalities, and explore emotions in healthy ways. I have received life saving skills training numerous times and am willing to renew those certifications. I am willing to drive to and from places. I have a valid drivers license, I do not own a vehicle at this time. Looking forward to working with you!
Hi, I’m Korie! I started babysitting as soon as I was allowed to take the Red Cross babysitter’s course at age 11 - 30 years ago! Since then I’ve worked as a professional nanny for several families, spent ten years running my own martial arts, wellness, and leadership program for kids, led a small homeschool preschool pod, and developed a parent coaching program called Thrive Atlas. These days I run parenting workshops and raise my two amazing girls, ages 8 and 14. Children have been the center of my life’s work for a long time, and I find it deeply rewarding. My approach to caregiving is attachment-focused, which means I pay close attention to building trust and a sense of safety with each child. When kids feel secure and genuinely seen, they’re free to explore, learn and develop a layered understanding of the world around them. I draw on Montessori and Waldorf styles, following the child’s natural curiosity, offering hands-on and imaginative play, and creating calm, unhurried rhythms to the day. I also love weaving in basic Spanish and French vocabulary and plenty of time in nature. One of my priorities is listening to you as a family before I begin spending time with your little one. Every household has its own values, routines, and priorities, and honoring those is important to me. If you’d like to talk about what your family needs, I’d love to connect.
“Korie was such a loving, skilled, creative, and responsible caregiver and contributor to our family. Can't recommend her highly enough!”
I have been a caregiver for over a decade as well as working for doctors prior to becoming a caregiver. I have a passion for taking care of people especially the elderly. I have vast experience with those with dementia, Parkinson’s and hospice. I believe compassion care is holistic and this includes making sure the whole family is mentally healthy. I work with a team of caregivers that are very trained and have excellent references. Most of the care we provide is 24/7. I and my team have great references and we work as a team so the family never has to worry about replacements or fill ins.
