Hi! I’m a 24-year-old childcare professional and a recent graduate of Towson University. I have 8 years of babysitting experience caring for amazing kids anywhere from 3 months all the way up to 13 years old! I love taking care of creative kids who like drawing, building, dancing, playing hide and seek or using their imagination to play. But I also enjoy going to the playground and having a good outdoor time. I like pets and do not have any type of allergies. I am a responsible caregiver, a good friend for the kids and I make sure to clean any mess that can exist as a result of our games. As a nanny, I make sure to communicate any questions and update the parents often to make sure they know everything is going well! In the same way, I appreciate clarity in the instructions parents can give me. Every child is different so I know I need time to get to know them and for them to get to know me. I recently moved to Highland Park and will be starting my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Rutgers (New Brunswick) this September. At the moment, I am only looking for occasional babysitting jobs. Before moving to NJ this summer, I lived in New York City for five years while completing my master’s degree at Columbia University and working in the field of youth mental health. My education in Clinical Psychology, along with my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Child Development from UC Davis, has given me a strong understanding of child development, behavior, and children’s needs. I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings. I’ve had numerous part-time nanny and babysitting jobs with children ranging from newborns to 15 years old. I also worked as a camp counselor for many years and as a math and reading tutor.
