I am a part-time college student at the University of Maryland in College Park. I have years of experience working with children as well as engaging with them outside of a professional setting. I have 2 young nieces (10 and 8) whom I often babysit, drive to and from activities, and keep busy at home while my brother is working. My prior babysitting experience also includes neighbors, children of friends and family, and other relatives. I grew up a dancer so as soon as I became old enough, I was student teaching classes for pre-schoolers and eventually taught some classes on my own. I have worked with infants ages 6-weeks to 8 months during the summers and winters that I had off from school. I have also been an intern and student teacher at an elementary school. If you'd like to book me for less, that is fine as long as I am still being paid for the full 4 hours. --------- I require full payment for the time I am booked regardless of when the parents come home. **Cancellation: If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled start time, I expect 50% of payment agreed upon. If you cancel within 24 hours, I expect to receive 100% of the payment. **Emergencies: I am CPR & first aid certified. In the case of an emergency that I feel I am not equipped to handle (ex: severe allergic reaction, fire, medical emergency, etc..) I follow the following plan: 1. Do what I can to ensure child(rens) safety. 2. Call 911. 3. Call Parents. **Interviews: Initially I prefer phone interviews. If it is a working interview, I charge at my minimum rate of per child.
