I've been babysitting for about 5 years now and out of all my jobs, it's always been my favorite:) Being the daughter of an elementary school teacher I was raised with a deep appreciation for peace + love, and I love keeping that cycle going! I'm open to all aspects of care-taking for children (including any special needs for neurodivergent children), except driving and changing diapers. I am also open to house-care such as grocery shopping, laundry, tidying up, etc. I am currently in college, so I don't have my degree yet but I'm working on it!

Originally from Buffalo, NY, I moved to Manhattan in 2024 to continue my education. I’m 25 years old and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Childhood Development from Nazareth College. After graduating in 2022, I spent two years working in a psychiatric facility supporting children with mental health needs, working with kids as young as 5 and up to 17 years old. Caring for children has always been something I genuinely love. During my earlier years in school, I also nannied for several families, gaining hands-on experience with infants as young as 2 months old as well as families with multiple children. These experiences have helped me develop patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of children at different developmental stages. In my free time, I love staying active and engaged with kids by playing soccer, exploring parks, and visiting museums. I’m also a big dog lover and am very comfortable around pets. Hi! I’m Ava, a Yale grad and former Division I swimmer with a passion for working with kids. I studied English at Yale with a concentration in Writing, and spent a year as a Teacher’s Aide at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, where I worked with students across multiple grade levels. I also spent 3 years as a swim instructor at Empire Swim School in Tarrytown, teaching kids of all ages and skill levels to swim, so I’m very comfortable working with children in all kinds of settings. Additionally I have years of experience nannying and babysitting kids of all ages. As a varsity athlete who trained 20+ hours a week, I bring a lot of energy, patience, and structure to everything I do. Hello, I am Graciela, and I am currently halfway through my undergraduate studies at NYU, I will be staying in the city for the summer. I am offering childcare, petcare, or household services.
