Hi, my name is Crystal! I have a bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Family Therapy. Childcare has been my primary profession for the past 10+ years. I have experience with children of all ages but have mostly worked with 1-8 year olds. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I make a great sitter because I am very observant of each child’s individual needs. I always make sure to ask parents about their parenting style, rules, and expectations so I can remain consistent with how they raise their children. I also prioritize communication with parents and guardians. I am warm, energetic, creative, and pay great attention to detail. Kids always love how silly I am with them, and I make sure that we have a great time. Despite my playful approach, I make sure children follow their parents’ rules and expectations.
I grew up in a small town in Missouri and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. I graduated with a degree in Theatre. I am the oldest in my family and took care of my younger brothers, as well as younger cousins, growing up. From age 13 through high school, I babysat for a local family who had six kids all between the ages of 7 and newborn. I taught dance through high school and my first two years of college. I taught 3-5 year olds as well as pre-teens and teenagers. I am happy to help with homework and projects or anything else they may need!
“MK was so lovely and kind. She arrived on time, the kids really enjoyed playing with her and she went above and beyond by even tidying up a bit. Great babysitter, would absolutely hire again!”
Hi my name is Ximena. I worked as a first grade teacher in Colombia, I came to the US as an au pair and worked for a family for 2.5 years I took care of 2 kids they were 1.6 and 5. I helped them to build and reinforce different skills, I also volunteered as a teacher assistant at Buena Vista Horace Mann school and At ccsf helping kids and adults with literacy. I worked part time at a day care. After that, i work for 1 year in a Spanish immersion program. I am currently working at the school district as paraeducator. Working with kids is my passion and I am going to the process to become an educator
“Thank you for the great and thorough job!”
Hi! My name is Haley and I am a 26 years old with bachelor degree in psychology and a minor in Education from UCSC. I have 10 years of babysitting experience with kids of all ages. I also have a elementary school teaching credential. I have worked at summer camps and after school programs as well.
Hi! I'm Isabelle, am 29 years old and live in NYC. I have an AA in Art and a BA in Politics. I work as a case manager/community organizer at a food pantry on the UES. I used to babysit during college and always enjoyed it which is why I still occasionally enjoy picking up some gigs here or there :) I grew up in Germany with an American mother, a German father, and am the oldest of 4 siblings. I'm fluent in both German and English and have worked with bilingual kids in both a nanny and teaching environment. After graduating from HS in Germany and professionally working in the performing arts growing up, I was interested in working socially with families and kids who were less fortunate/had special needs. In the summer of 2015, I started an art+living project in Germany with kids and families who had fled their countries. In 2016, I became part of a therapeutic horse farm that focused on working with kids with special needs. I was the outdoor teacher and leader of an inclusive forest group consisting of 5-7 children aged 4-10 years old. Upon moving to the USA in 2017, I worked as a teacher at the Seattle Waldorf School and absolutely ❤️ it. In the summer of 2022, I worked with kids in Ukraine+Poland, primarily teaching or working with mothers and babies. I've been working with runaway homeless youth at places such as The Door and The Ali Forney Center for the past several years. Working with kids has always brought me joy and kept me grounded during hectic times. I nannied during undergrad and, while I have experience with children of all age ranges, I have primarily worked with infants and babies during their first year of life. I have experience with night-nannying, sleep training, feeding, and multiples. For those of you with older kids, bedtime routine is no problem either as I have had many longer term after-school gigs as well. I am confident in navigating the city responsibly, including school pick-up, and use of public transit. As a nanny, I'd describe myself as relaxed, punctual, reliable, flexible, confident, reasonable, communicative, consistent and dedicated. I very much enjoy working with families of different backgrounds, and I am absolutely LGBTQ+ family-friendly, being part of one myself. I can provide references and am happy to answer any further questions. I'm vaccinated and CPR trained. ⭐️ When I'm not nannying, I am playing soccer, going for a run, cheering on the WNBA+ NWSL, going out with friends or staying in with my books.
“Isabelle was great. On time, asked thoughtful questions and kept us updated on how our girl was doing. ”
