I have previously worked multiple customer service jobs which have required communicating with people of all ages. One of these jobs was at a bakery where my responsibilities also included a lot of cleaning and organizing. I have younger cousins and neighbors who I have babysat from time to time, and have spent the past two summers caring for my elderly grandmother. This care (for either/and children and the elderly) has included reading and writing, word and board games, and cooking and cleaning. As far as pets go, I have had dogs, cats, and rabbits my whole life, as well as petsit for friends and family.

Hi there! I'm Karina, a recent NYU graduate offering child and pet care! As the eldest in my family I've been working with kids since I was little and love to work with the PreK-12 age range. I also work as an after school lead tutor with the NYPL during the school year and can help that same age range with any homework subject. I can work with children individually or with as many as 5 kids at a time. I speak fluent Spanish and intermediate French. My goal with children is to inspire a love of learning and sense of wonder in the world around them and to do so through fostering curiosity, empathy, and a mutual sense of respect.
